Today marks the beginning of our Built Not Bought Workshop.

We are currently preparing the workshop, setting up equipment, organising work areas, and getting everything ready for participants.

We are excited to see this project finally come to life and look forward to sharing the journey as we build something special together.

After months of planning, preparation, and hard work, we are finally in the building that will become the home of our Built Not Bought Program!

📍 Built Not Bought Workshop
108A Main Road, Port Pirie

Over the coming weeks, we'll be busy cleaning, organising, and setting up the workshop ready for participants to begin building skills, confidence, and independence through hands-on projects and practical activities.

Our Built Not Bought Program will operate from this dedicated workshop location, providing opportunities for participants to get involved in activities such as workshop projects, woodworking, upcycling, metal art, repairs, creative builds, and other practical skill-based activities.

This is a huge milestone for J&D Supports, and we are excited to begin transforming the workshop into a space where participants can learn new skills, create amazing projects, build confidence, and connect with others.

We look forward to sharing progress updates and photos as we prepare both locations for the future.

A special thank you to Aaron and Breanna from A & B Mechanical for their amazing donations towards our Built Not Bought Program at J&D Supports.

They have generously donated diagnostic equipment to help our participants gain a better understanding of the inner workings of vehicles, along with a large range of tools to support hands-on learning and skill building.

They have also offered to donate old car parts and metal to help bring our creative art and workshop projects to life.

We truly appreciate the support from local businesses helping us create meaningful opportunities for our participants. Thank you again Aaron and Breanna for backing the program and believing in what we do. 🔧🛠️🚗
