That is where the gap is.” In our latest D-Talk, advocate and Blue Circle Voice Lucy Johnbosco Kifaru shares how her community organisation is helping bridge that gap through diabetes awareness in schools, teacher training and community education — to give people with diabetes the understanding and support they need.

What's your final song? 🎶

Every year, Dying to Know Day encourages Australians to have conversations about death, dying and the things that matter most before it's too late.

In the lead up to Dying to Know Day, we're inviting you to help build Australia's Final Playlist by sharing the song you’d want played at your funeral, farewell or celebration of life.

It might be a song that tells your story, brings back a special memory, or simply feels like you when it’s your time to say goodbye.

While it might seem like a simple question, it opens the door to bigger conversations about the things that matter most. Your wishes, your values, your memories, and the details your loved ones may one day need to know. Because if we don't share these things, nobody knows.

Visit dyingtoknow.au to add your song to the official Dying to Know: Australia’s Final Playlist.

Tell someone why you chose it and share your song on socials using . Don't forget to tag us in your post!

Changes to memory, concentration, multitasking, or finding the right words can be part of living with Parkinson’s, and they can have a real impact on everyday life.

Our upcoming Positive Life session on 'Cognition' will explore why these changes can occur, factors that may contribute to them, and practical strategies that may help in day-to-day situations. We’ll also discuss where to go for further support and guidance.

This free online session takes place on Wednesday 12 August from 10:00am to 11:00am via Microsoft Teams. Registration is required.
