Meet Dr Shannon Zawada ()
Dr Shannon Zawada is a highly qualified Fertility (CREI) and Gynaecology specialist, known for her expertise and personalised, compassionate care. She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, achieved FRANZCOG in 2016, and holds a Masters in Human Reproduction and Human Genetics. She went on to complete subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, earning her CREI qualification — the highest recognised accreditation for fertility specialists in Australia.
Dr Zawada is a consultant Fertility Specialist at The Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Canterbury Hospital, and a visiting medical officer at Prince of Wales Private and St Luke’s Hospital. She is also a lecturer at the University of Sydney, contributing to medical research and training in women’s health.
She has extensive experience managing ovulation disorders, recurrent miscarriage, endometriosis, fibroids, complex infertility, fertility preservation, egg freezing, andrology, preimplantation genetic testing, donor conception, and surrogacy.
