I used to instantly resent my daughter’s constant interruptions when I was just trying to work.
I put so much importance on getting things done that I forgot a hard truth: this tiny human I brought into the world just needed me.
By pushing her away, I was unintentionally teaching her that her needs didn’t matter.
She had done nothing wrong.
She didn’t deserve my snapping.
She just wanted connection with her mum.
Everything changed when I fast-forwarded 20 years and asked myself:
“Will I regret missing out on this busy-work, or will I regret missing out on her?”
I decided I didn’t want to waste my motherhood lost in triggers and annoyance. I shifted my priority from distractions to connection.
Now, I don’t push her away. We have found a beautiful rhythm where we both get our needs met. I tackle my work when she’s asleep or happily occupied, and I truly cherish our time together.
You don’t have to stay stuck in the cycle of mom-guilt and frustration.
I help mothers find this happy medium by working through triggers, regulating the nervous system, and shifting mindsets so you can finally find peace in motherhood.
