✨ A warm welcome to Dr Christine Butler

We are delighted to welcome psychiatrist Dr Christine Butler to Wellvue.

Christine provides care to adults and has experience supporting people across a broad range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and complex PTSD, insomnia, chronic pain, grief and loss, and personality disorders. She also has an interest in supporting people through the emotional and psychological challenges associated with becoming a parent.

Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative and person-centred, taking the time to understand each patient’s individual circumstances, concerns and goals.

Christine also provides reports for DVA and workers compensation schemes, including Comcare and WorkCover.

We warmly welcome Christine to the Wellvue community. She is currently accepting new patients for telehealth consultations across Australia.

✨ Clinician spotlight: Terri Trang ✨

Terri Trang is a Registered Psychologist consulting across Australia with Wellvue via telehealth, with appointments available after 5pm AEST/AEDT.

Terri supports individuals, couples and adolescents, with a particular interest in couples and relationship counselling. She has completed Level 2 training in the internationally recognised Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based approach used to support relationship communication, connection and wellbeing.

Terri also works with a range of concerns including anxiety, stress and burnout, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, ADHD coaching, cultural issues, emotional vulnerabilities and substance use.

Before becoming a psychologist, Terri spent more than 15 years working across the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. This experience brings a practical, thoughtful and collaborative lens to her work with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Her approach is compassionate, personable and non-judgemental. Terri draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, tailoring support to each client’s needs and goals.

Outside the therapy room, Terri enjoys long walks with her two dogs, catching up with friends on “walk and talks”, exploring new restaurants, cooking at home and finding travel inspiration through vlogs.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Simon Hoang, Consultant Psychiatrist, to the Wellvue team.

Dr Hoang brings extensive experience across public and private mental health services, including work in major teaching hospitals in Sydney and Melbourne. He provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, complex PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders, grief and loss, adjustment disorders and functional neurological disorders.

Dr Hoang takes a compassionate, holistic and person centred approach to care. His work focuses on thorough assessment, evidence informed treatment planning and supporting people to feel heard, understood and involved in their care.

We are very pleased to have Dr Hoang joining Wellvue as we continue to expand access to high quality mental health care through secure telehealth across Australia.

With an interest in psychotherapy, yoga and movement, Dr James Tranter brings a thoughtful, whole-person lens to his work in psychiatry.

Dr Tranter is a Melbourne-based Consultant Psychiatrist consulting with Wellvue via telehealth. He works with adolescents aged 13 years and older, young people and adults, with clinical interests including psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental differences, mood and anxiety disorders, complex trauma, grief and loss, and family-based work.

He is also a qualified yoga teacher and values movement as part of wellbeing.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Aanchal Agrawal, Consultant Psychiatrist, to Wellvue. Based in Queensland, she provides telehealth consultations to adults across Australia.

Dr Agrawal is known for her warm, respectful, and recovery-focused approach. She works with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related conditions, eating disorders, personality disorders, grief and loss, and adjustment difficulties. Her care is collaborative and person-centred, with a strong focus on building trust and developing practical, tailored treatment plans.

She also has experience in medico-legal psychiatry, including the preparation of assessments and reports for WorkCover and workers’ compensation matters.

With a background spanning both public and private mental health services, Dr Agrawal brings a balanced and thoughtful approach to care.
