Support Workers Needed – Canberra Southside

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers to provide care for an individual with complex mental health needs, who is deaf and has a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in support work or related roles
• Experience supporting individuals with alcohol and drug challenges
• Skilled in managing behaviours of concern
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Reliable, flexible, and professional

Support Responsibilities:
• Providing social support and community engagement
• Assisting with home maintenance and daily living tasks
• Supporting communication needs

Role Details:
• Location: Canberra, Southside
• Shifts: Varying shifts from 2–6 hours, flexibility required

Whilst this is a nationally recognised day, we want to ensure that we appreciate each and everyone for their hard work and dedication to our community.

As an organisation, structured and founded by women, we appreciate that this day allows us to be empowered to have the confidence to take that leap of faith- if we didn’t have the voice and the recognition that we do, we would not be able to provide the quality support that we do.
