The Healing Pathway embraces the broader journey of healing, teaching and guidance. My name is Susan, welcome to my page and healing space. I am a Reiki Therapist, Psychic Medium and Traditional Astrologer offering a soft, soul-aligned healing and guidance. I have been on my spiritual healing journey for many years and feel so blessed to have been taught, coached and mentored by amazing and suppor

tive people which has led me to where I am today. The Healing Touch is a place that cares for the wellbeing of women and offers an environment that will calm the mind, relax the body and nurture the soul. 🌸 𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙊 𝙎𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 — 𝙄𝙏’𝙎 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂! 🌸
Today, 1st September, marks the first day of Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere — and after the quieter, inward energy of winter, it feels like the perfect invitation to begin again. The days are getting lighter. Nature is waking up and perhaps we are being gently encouraged to do the same. 🌱

We are also moving through Virgo Season, a beautiful time for clearing, organising, tending and putting our lives back into alignment and what better time for a little Spring Cleaning? Not just our homes and physical spaces, but our minds, bodies, energy and hearts too.

Virgo reminds us that transformation doesn't always need to be dramatic. Sometimes it begins with simply putting one foot in front of the other and getting things done. 🌸

There is also plenty of movement in the skies to support us. The Leo Solar Eclipse is still unfolding its story, setting the stage for the next six months and bringing greater focus to the area of our lives ruled by Leo in our individual charts. Mars squares Saturn and asks us to take our intentions seriously — turning seeds planted earlier in the year into something real and tangible. With Jupiter trining Saturn, there is a beautiful opportunity to bring our bigger vision down to earth and begin building it, one step at a time.

So perhaps this Spring isn't simply about cleaning out the cupboards...perhaps it's about clearing the way for the life we are ready to step into. 🌿

𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤:

🌕 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝐄𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐒 ♓️𝟐𝟖 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 • 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 • 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡
There is something deeply soulful about this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. At 4°54' Pisces, the Moon stands opposite the Sun at the same degree in Virgo, bringing the familiar Virgo–Pisces polarity into focus — the balance between the practical and the spiritual, doing and being, service and surrender.

This is also the sixth of seven eclipses along the Virgo–Pisces axis, a cycle that began in September 2024 and completes in February 2027. This eclipse carries a sense of culmination. A moment to pause and look at what this longer journey has been teaching us.

𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑
Pisces reminds us that not everything can be planned, fixed or controlled. Virgo wants to understand, organise and make things right. Pisces asks us to soften into the unknown and trust what we cannot yet see.

Where have you been trying to hold everything together? Where have you been giving too much, serving too much, or putting your own needs aside?

This eclipse invites us to recognise that surrender is not giving up. It is trusting. It is releasing our attachment to how we think something should unfold and allowing space for another possibility. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say is:
𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆.

𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐇
Lunar eclipses can bring what has been quietly developing beneath the surface into our awareness. Emotions may rise, relationships may shift and something we have perhaps known intuitively for some time may finally become impossible to ignore. But this is where Pisces asks us to listen differently. Not just to the facts. Not just to what makes sense. But to the quiet knowing within.

What is your truth when you become still enough to hear it?
Remember, an eclipse can temporarily magnify one part of our experience while we don't yet have the complete picture. We don't need to rush to judgement or make every decision immediately.

𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐒 — 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
There is also an unexpected and awakening quality surrounding this eclipse, with the Sun and Moon forming a square to Uranus. Uranus can shake us out of old patterns and comfort zones.
It can bring a sudden realisation. A different perspective. A desire to break free.
We may find ourselves asking:
What needs to change?
What is truly fuelling me?
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐦 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞?
Perhaps this is where surrender becomes the doorway to change.

𝐉𝐔𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑 — 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎N
Jupiter rules this eclipse and is travelling through Leo, moving towards harmony with Saturn. This is beautiful symbolism for growth that has the potential to become something real and lasting. Jupiter wants to expand our vision and remind us that we may be capable of far more than we have believed. Saturn brings structure, maturity and grounding. Together, they remind us that we don't simply dream a new life into being. We begin to build it. The eclipse can therefore feel like a doorway — clearing something that has been standing in the way so that we can move towards something more aligned.

𝐑𝐄𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇
Perhaps this is the deeper invitation of this Pisces eclipse. Not simply to let go.
But to create space. Because rebirth rarely begins with knowing exactly what comes next. Sometimes it begins with releasing the version of ourselves that we have outgrown. It begins when we stop abandoning our own needs. When we listen to the truth within. When we trust the path even though we cannot yet see the whole journey.

𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧.

This Pisces Lunar Eclipse doesn't ask us to have all the answers.
It asks us to listen.

🤍 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙧𝙖 (𝙎𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙖)
Today we arrive at the final chakra in our journey—the Crown Chakra, our centre of spiritual connection, higher awareness and inner peace.

Located at the crown of the head, this chakra reminds us that we are connected to something greater than ourselves. It invites us to trust the journey, embrace the present moment and remember that we are always supported.

🤍 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙧𝙖
One of the most meaningful ways to support your Crown Chakra is to create moments of stillness and connection.

𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙤:
✨ Spend time in meditation or prayer.
✨ Sit quietly in nature.
✨ Watch a sunrise or sunset.
✨ Reflect on the blessings in your life.
✨ Wear or surround yourself with the colours violet or white.
✨ Simply allow yourself a few moments of silence each day.

If you have been attuned to Reiki, spend a little extra time during your self-treatment with your hands gently resting above or on the crown of your head, allowing the energy to flow wherever it is needed.

As you move through your day, gently repeat this affirmation:

As we continue our journey through the chakras, today we arrive at the Third Eye Chakra—the centre of intuition, insight and inner wisdom.

Located between the eyebrows, the Third Eye Chakra encourages us to trust our intuition and see beyond what is visible. When balanced, we often experience greater clarity, insight and a deeper connection with our inner knowing.

💜 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐫𝐚
Creating moments of stillness allows this chakra to flourish.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨:

🌑✨ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐅𝐓: 𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐒, 𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 ✨🌑
Today, 12 August, we experience a powerful New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse in Leo — but there is something even bigger happening around this eclipse.
The Lunar Nodes have shifted into a new axis: Aquarius and Leo, beginning a cycle that will unfold over the next 18 months.

I feel this is something worth pausing with… because this shift is not simply about what is happening around us. It invites us to look at what is changing within us.

𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐬 – 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐝𝐞
Aquarius calls us towards the future, community, connection, authenticity and the bigger picture. It asks:
Where do I belong?
What do I want to contribute?
How can my individual gifts be part of something greater than myself?

𝐋𝐞𝐨 – 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐝𝐞
Leo invites us to release old patterns around recognition, validation, needing to be seen or feeling that we have to prove our worth. But I don't feel this means we are being asked to dim our light. Quite the opposite.

We are being invited to shine from a more authentic place — not because we need applause, approval or recognition, but because our light has something meaningful to offer.

🌑 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐨…
Eclipses have a way of illuminating what is ready to change. Sometimes that change is obvious. Sometimes it begins quietly — as a feeling, a realisation, a conversation, or the growing awareness that something no longer feels aligned.

𝐋𝐞𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.
What brings you joy?
What makes you feel alive?
What part of yourself have you been holding back?...and perhaps most importantly…
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄?

There is something beautiful about a New Moon in Leo occurring alongside the South Node. It speaks of release as a pathway to renewal. We don't have to carry every old version of ourselves into the future. Some identities, expectations, fears and stories have simply served their purpose. We can let them go and as we do, we create space for something more authentic to emerge.

There is also a significant shift in energy with Mars moving into Cancer, bringing our actions closer to our emotional and intuitive selves. We may find ourselves becoming more protective of our peace, our homes, our loved ones and our emotional wellbeing.

✨ 𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬?
This new Aquarius–Leo cycle will continue to unfold over the coming months, bringing opportunities to reconsider where we belong, what we are creating, who we are becoming and how we share our unique light with the world.
The Solar Eclipse feels like the first beautiful doorway into that story…not a demand to suddenly change everything…not a race to become someone new…but an invitation to release what no longer feels true and make space for what does.

As our journey continues, today we focus on the Throat Chakra—the centre of communication, truth and authentic expression.

Located at the throat, this chakra encourages us to express ourselves honestly while also listening with compassion and understanding. When balanced, we communicate with confidence, kindness and integrity.

One of the simplest ways to support your Throat Chakra is by allowing your authentic voice to be heard.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨:
✨ Journal your thoughts.
✨ Sing or hum your favourite music.
✨ Spend time in quiet reflection.
✨ Have an honest conversation you've been avoiding.
✨ Wear or surround yourself with the colour blue.
✨ Practise listening just as much as speaking.

🌙 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 | 𝟗–𝟏𝟓 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭
There is something about this week that feels like standing at the edge of a doorway...Perhaps you can feel it too.

We are moving towards the New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on 12 August and with Jupiter also travelling through Leo, there is a beautiful invitation to come back to the heart and remember the light within us.

Leo asks us to be brave enough to be seen.
To follow what brings us joy.
To allow ourselves to dream again…and perhaps, most importantly, to stop making ourselves smaller.

🌑 A Solar Eclipse can bring change, but not always in ways we expect. Sometimes it is an ending. Sometimes a beginning. Sometimes simply a quiet realisation that we are ready for something different.

There may be old stories surfacing this week too—stories about who we are, what we can do, what we deserve or where we belong.

But the past is there to teach us, not to hold us.

The Sabian Symbol for this eclipse speaks of trying to fly before we are ready—a lovely reminder that while we should never be afraid to dream, we don't have to rush the unfolding.

Some things need time.
Some dreams need nurturing…and some doors open only when we are truly ready to walk through them.

✨ So perhaps this New Moon isn't about asking "What will happen?" Perhaps it's about asking:

What is my heart calling me towards?
What are you ready to release?
What are you ready to begin?
Where are you being asked to trust yourself a little more?

As we move through this powerful eclipse energy, we are also still feeling the echoes of the 8/8 Lion’s Gate portal, which opened last Saturday. Perhaps the energy has left you feeling more reflective, more aware, or simply more conscious of what is ready to shift within you.

These energies don't disappear on a single day; sometimes their message continues to unfold in the days and weeks that follow.
And now, with the Leo New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse on 12 August, we are being invited to take that awareness a little deeper.

You may not see the whole pathway yet.
You don't need to.
Just trust the next step that feels true to you. 🌿

Located in the centre of the chest, the Heart Chakra reminds us of the importance of giving and receiving love, kindness and forgiveness. It is the bridge between our physical and spiritual selves, encouraging us to live with compassion for both ourselves and others.

Each year, as we move through Leo season, many people observe the Lion's Gate Portal, with 8 August (8/8) considered the peak of this energetic window. Rather than a single day, it is often viewed as a period of heightened awareness and reflection that unfolds throughout late July and early August.

The origins of Lion's Gate are linked to the heliacal rising of Sirius, the brightest star in our night sky. In Ancient Egypt, the appearance of Sirius alongside the annual flooding of the Nile marked a time of renewal, abundance and the beginning of a new year.

Today, many people see this symbolic alignment of the Earth, Sun and Sirius as an invitation to reconnect with their inner light and higher purpose.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟴/𝟴/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
The number 8 is associated with infinity, balance, manifestation, abundance and the connection between the spiritual and material worlds. On 8/8, this energy is amplified, encouraging us to become more conscious of our thoughts, intentions and the reality we are creating.

Adding another layer, 2026 is a Universal 1 Year in numerology—a year that represents new beginnings, fresh opportunities and the courage to take the first step. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐤𝐢 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞?
𝓜𝔂 𝓟𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮

One of the questions I am asked most often is...
"What does Reiki actually feel like?" The truth is, everyone's experience is different. This is simply my own story.

My very first Reiki session came at a time when I was carrying deep sadness and grief after losing my mum. Looking back, I'm not even sure how I found Reiki. I simply felt drawn to it... or perhaps Reiki found me exactly when I needed it most. Maybe it was a little divine intervention. I remember feeling nervous, not knowing what to expect.

The practitioner welcomed me with such kindness and compassion that I immediately felt safe. During the session, emotions that I had been holding onto for so long began to rise. They felt raw, yet somehow they were surrounded by an incredible sense of peace and calm. It was as though those emotions were finally being held gently instead of carried alone.

By the end of the session, I was very emotional and over the following few days those feelings continued to surface. Rather than feeling overwhelmed, I felt as though something within me had finally started to move.

My practitioner explained that when grief and emotions have been stored deeply for a long time, it can be helpful to have several sessions close together. Healing doesn't usually happen all at once. It unfolds gently, layer by layer, allowing the body and mind to release what they are ready to let go of.

As I continued receiving Reiki, I became more aware of what was happening within my body. The strongest sensations were always around my heart centre. Looking back, that makes perfect sense. I was carrying so much grief, sadness and perhaps even guilt, wondering whether I could have done more for my mum.

Sometimes I would feel warmth or tingling in different parts of my body. Other times my stomach would gurgle and rumble — something Reiki practitioners often smile about because it's simply the body responding and relaxing. These were all little messages reminding me that my body was beginning to let go.

As I learned to listen more deeply to my body, I also noticed something changing within myself. I wasn't just beginning to heal emotionally. I was beginning to see life differently.

After every session I left feeling lighter, calmer and more connected to myself. The grief didn't disappear overnight, but I felt more able to carry it with love instead of pain.

Reiki became so much more than a treatment. It became part of my own healing journey. It is the reason I became a Reiki practitioner. It is the reason I now teach Reiki…and it is why, even today, I continue to receive Reiki myself. I truly believe that caring for our own wellbeing allows us to better support others.

If you've ever wondered whether Reiki is right for you, perhaps my story has answered a few of your questions. Everyone's experience is unique, but sometimes the first step is simply allowing yourself to be open to the possibility of healing.

Perhaps Reiki didn't come into my life by chance. It came exactly when my soul needed it most. Today, it is a privilege to hold that same compassionate space for other women as they begin their own healing journeys.
