Green Prescription Hike Gloucester Tops . What a spectacular day the Tops presented to us. It was Nature at its best, the scenery is something I think heaven may look like. When I read children’s books of forests or JR.Tolkiens Hobbit adventures these are the forests I think of. The GLOVES acronym was familiar to us all in this palette of greens and browns. Gratitude that we had the opportunity to be there, Love for all the animals, birds and insects and fellow human beings on the hike;Outdoors is the place to move from a micro-universe of self-centeredness to a more macro-view of our place and purpose in this vast universe;Veggies, wowsa we ate them in abundance in the Minestrone soup and frittata, vey yummy lots of protein, fibre and goodness ;Exercise, yup there was plenty of up and we remembered our quads , calves and lungs;S for sleep, it came easy last night , a tired body and memories of moving like a wild animal browsing in an Antarctic Beech forest sipping pristine river water from the swamps of the Gloucester river in the Barrington Range. Thanks to all the wonderful clients who made it such a memorable adventure, we will always be grateful for the time we spent together… share experience and memories. Thanks to Leo Dominguez for his wonderful photography and credit to him🙏⛰⛰🥾🥾🌲🌲
