We’re honoured to spotlight Moyamoya Australia, a dedicated organisation raising awareness and supporting individuals and families impacted by Moyamoya disease. 💙

Moyamoya is a rare, progressive cerebrovascular condition where arteries in the brain become narrowed or blocked, increasing the risk of strokes and other serious neurological challenges.

Through advocacy, education, and community connection, Moyamoya Australia is working to ensure that no one faces this diagnosis alone. From supporting patients and families to funding vital research and raising awareness across the country, their impact is both meaningful and life-changing.

Their work is helping shine a light on a condition that many have never heard of, but one that deserves greater understanding, support, and attention.

It was a packed house tonight at the Atherton International Club, who nominated Moyamoya Australia as their charity for their incredibly popular quiz night! We had a ball, we talked Moyamoya, we raised much needed funds, but most of all, we are so GRATEFUL for the opportunity! Thank you! To everyone involved, Renay Tessaro Keith and Kaz, the bar staff, the players, what a great thing you have going!
