In addition to our comprehensive vaccination services, our specially trained pharmacist can now assist with the administration of prescribed injectable medicines, offering a convenient and professional healthcare service close to home.

How does it work?

Some prescription medicines require administration by a healthcare professional. Our accredited pharmacists can provide this service in a safe, private, and convenient setting.

To receive an injectable medicine, you will need a valid prescription from your doctor.

What medicines can be administered?

Where permitted under applicable legislation and professional practice requirements, our pharmacists can administer Prescription Only Medicines (Schedule 4 medicines) in accordance with a valid prescription.

Examples include:

Vitamin B12 injections
Depo-Provera®
Prolia®
Wegovy
Ozempic®
Mounjaro®

National Diabetes Week is an annual campaign raising awareness of diabetes and its impact on individuals, families, and the health system - shining a light on the 1.3+ million Australians living with the condition.

Diabetes mellitus is more commonly known as diabetes. It’s a health condition where there is too much glucose (sugar) in your blood.

There are several types of diabetes. The most common types are:
