Clients who move a lot during a session are often those who have experienced a significant amount of this work. Not because the work is creating more movement over time, but because the nervous system has developed a level of trust, in the practitioner, in the space and in itself, that allows the body to express more freely than it could in earlier sessions.
In the beginning the nervous system is cautious. It is assessing. Deciding whether this environment is safe enough to let its guard down & as that safety is established session by session, the body becomes more comfortable expressing what it has been holding in whatever way feels most natural to it.
For some that looks like larger movement. For others it remains subtle and internal. Both are equally valid expressions of a nervous system doing its work.
What you are watching in this footage is not someone having a better session than a client who barely moves. You are watching someone whose nervous system has learned, through accumulated experience of this work, that it is safe to fully express what it is carrying. That permission alone is profound.
