It was a privilege to be recognized as a finalist for the Invisible Load Award in the I did It Anyway Awards alongside Jess , whose contributions continue to also raise the bar. 🙏🏽 ✨
Winning this award means so much to me, not just as a business owner, but as a grand daughter, daughter, sister, aunty, a friend and a woman who has fought to keep going through some of the hardest moments of my life. It is a recognition of the resilience, strength, and heart I’ve poured into my business but also myself, even when everything felt impossible.
More than that, this is about my legacy, I can leave for my future children, my nieces and nephew. I want them to see that life will test you, doubt will scream, and fear will knock you down, but you can rise, keep going, and believe in yourself no matter what. I want them to learn that being a good human, holding strong morals, working hard, and showing resilience isn’t just about success, it’s about strength of character and courage of heart.
This is empowerment to me to keep showing up fully, not just for my clients, but for MYSELF, my family and my community. It is proof that even when life throws everything at me, I can keep moving forward, inspire others, and make a mark that goes beyond just business.
It is a reminder that my story, my perseverance, and my heart have the power to inspire this generation and the next, women who have experienced or experiencing DV relationships, women living with invisible illnesses, women who feel they are absolutely broken inside, women who are working out how to step out of their own comfort zones and anyone ever doubting themselves.
A big thank you to Sandra for organising the awards night. Linja for sponsoring this award. A big thank you also to the judges panel. 🙏🏽✨
