Please take care and stay informed during this time of pandemic.

The best defence we have is social distancing and isolation. This is not hiding, and not a last resort. It is a planned and coordinated weapon designed to starve the virus of what it needs to survive: readily available new hosts. But this requires us ALL. Don’t be the weak link!

The National Lung Foundation of Australia and New Zealand have published their guidelines for Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a mainstay of all chronic respiratory conditions with particular benefits to clients with COPD and bronchiectasis.

The foundation recommends that all clients with COPD and bronchiectasis participate in regular exercise, prescribed by an appropriate physiotherapist. All COPD and bronchiectasis clients with limitations on their exercise capacity should participate in formal Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
