United Disability Care

United Disability Care Originally the company was called Accommodation Network, then later ACCNet21.

Our mission at UDC is to support people with disability to love their life and live their dreams, by achieving their goals and connecting with their communities in meaningful ways. United Disability Care was founded in 1993 by a lovely lady named Deb Stewart who wanted to provide support services to people with a disability in their own home. Its operation was focused on the rural NSW regions nort

h and north-west of Sydney, with its corporate support services and executive team offices in Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores, near the Queensland border. We provide supports in Southern QLD, Northern NSW and Mid-North Coast

🏁 Dreams were brought to life at Ability 1000.

A couple of weeks ago, people we support had the chance to experience an incredible day of motorsport, with the help of UDC's Dreams campaign. It was a great day out, with plenty of excitement, shared experiences, and memorable moments. πŸ’™

Thank you to LME Care for putting together such a great event. We're already looking forward to the next one!

Congratulations to our newest Employee of the Month, Kelly! πŸŽ‰

Kelly is known for her positive attitude, adaptability and willingness to support those around her. Whether she's mentoring teammates, taking on new challenges or helping keep things moving behind the scenes in her role as Client Services Officer, Kelly consistently goes above and beyond.

Her colleagues described her as an "absolute champ" and an "absolute legend", recognising the care, dedication and positivity she brings to UDC every day.

Thank you for everything you do, Kelly. This recognition is so well deserved! πŸ’™

Nothing beats a day spent doing the things you love. β˜€οΈπŸ’œ

Tracey enjoyed a fun-filled day out, with lunch by the beach, plenty of exploring and some successful op shopping along the way. She was thrilled with her finds and had lots of reasons to smile.

Days like these are all about choice, independence and enjoying the little moments that make life special.

πŸ’œ It's Wear It Purple Day!

Today is about celebrating LGBTQIA+ young people and the communities that champion inclusion, acceptance and belonging.

This year's theme, Colours of Courage, is a reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and empowered to be themselves.

πŸŽ‰ We're proud to celebrate another UDC Legend, Brian! πŸŽ‰

The UDC Legends initiative celebrates the achievements, growth, and personal milestones of the people we support. It recognises the determination, resilience, and effort behind every success, because what may seem like a small step often represents a significant personal achievement.

Brian has been recognised for his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to improving his health and wellbeing.

Over the past few weeks, Brian has embraced positive lifestyle changes, including regularly going for walks and building healthier daily routines. With encouragement from staff and a commitment to his goals, he has continued to put in the effort and maintain a positive attitude, even on the tougher days.

We're incredibly proud of Brian and all that he continues to achieve.

πŸ’™ Congratulations, Brian, on becoming a UDC Legend! πŸ’™
