2023 Veterans’ Health Week starts next week on 8 October and runs till 15 October.

This year’s theme, "Mental Wellness Matters", offers veterans and families the opportunity to connect with others in the community to promote good health and wellbeing in everyday life. Throughout October, there are numerous events happening in every state and territory. You can attend as many events as you like and it’s free to take part.

Raaawr! Today in one of our Speech Pathology sessions we used dinosaurs to practice expressive language skills such as vocabulary, prepositions (location words), descriptions & story creation.

We were very impressed with the creativity of this dinosaur set up - each time you look, you spot another piece of the story. Good thing they locked away the T-Rex, he looks hungry!

Alliance Rehabilitation is turning 7 & to mark this momentous milestone we will be holding our annual service Planning Day. This is an opportunity for our whole NQ team to come together to plan how we can improve our health service, take a deep dive into our processes & systems, & to revitalise & reinvigorate everyone for the next 12months.

To facilitate this our clinics will be closed to the public on the following days:
- Townsville: Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd June
- Cairns: Friday 23rd June
- Mackay: Friday 23rd June
- Rockhampton: Friday 23rd June
- Ayr (Outreach): Thursday 22nd June
