To support people with a disability to develop relationships and independence within the community, through skill development, leisure and social participation. has more than 30 years of knowledge and experience providing support for people with a disability within Rockhampton and the surrounding areas. Being a local organisation, we are rich in knowledge and networks that have been developed over many years of providing services and working in collaboration with our community. is a not-for-profit organisation, offering support to any person with a disability aged from 7-65 years. We we are always striving to improve the quality of life of the people we support and foster their independence. We pride ourselves on matching the right lifestyle support workers with the right participants. ⭐ Youth Workers (SIL/Residential) | Rockhampton ⭐
Could you be the steady, caring presence a young person needs?
Access Recreation is looking for compassionate, committed Youth Workers to join our Residential Team. You’ll support young people in a 24/7 home-like setting, building life skills and helping them feel safe, valued and heard.

What’s on offer:
✅ Casual and permanent part-time roles
✅ Immediate start (pending NDIS requirements)
✅ Casual rates from $48.13/hr, with weekend penalty rates
✅ $100 sleepover allowance
✅ Salary packaging of up to $15,900 per FBT year
✅ Ongoing training and a supportive team

You’ll need:
🔹 Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
🔹 Full driver’s licence
🔹 Availability for a rotating roster, including weekends and sleepovers
🔹 Empathy, resilience and a passion for mentoring young people
Cert IV in Youth Work and Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) are desirable.
