So what is 'functional nutrition', anyway?
Functional, or integrative nutrition, is a branch of functional medicine.
It combines aspects from both clinical, and holistic, nutrition practices.
Using evidence-based practices & clinical nutrition assessment skills. Then combining these with holistic practices that take into consideration both mind & body, and the interactions between the body systems.
Functional nutrition digs deeper, to find the root cause of a problem, instead of simply treating symptoms.
Functional nutrition is for those who desire to live more fully, instead of just surviving. For those who wish to experience more medical freedom from chronic health conditions. For those who perhaps feel stuck, and for those who wish to feel more aligned with themselves and nature.
