Down South Therapy provides high-quality specialised and individualised Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Psychology services to infants, children, teenagers and adults in the Rockingham, Peel and Great Southern regions. As a mobile service, we provide individual, paired and group sessions to schools, homes, childcare and daycare centres and community organisations. Therapi

• Equipment provision,
• Behaviour management (anxieties, avoidance, anger),
• Work training etc. We aim to assist everyone to reach their fullest potentials and to achieve valued and meaningful goals in a fun, functional, individualized and innovative manner. Our therapists are also experienced in the provision of education and information sessions to parents, siblings, families, schools and community organisations.

If you're a parent, caregiver or expecting a little one, join our team to learn how play supports your child's development from birth to 5 years. We'll share practical ideas, simple strategies and insights you can use in everyday life to support learning, connection and confidence through play.

We love being able to provide opportunities like this for local families and hope to see you there!

Who These Sessions Are For
These sessions are ideal for families who:
• Are currently on our waitlist and want therapy sooner
• Have a CDMP (Medicare) plan and want to use it during the holidays
• Want to start with an assessment and begin therapy immediately
• Want an intensive block of therapy to focus on specific goals

Walk for Autism in May

We’re stepping up and out to show our support people with Autism and the daily barriers and mental health challenges they face, this May.
This year we’re walking for the 70% of Autistic people facing mental health challenges and stepping up for a more inclusive world.

We love challenges like this, and it creates a healthy boost of activity within our whole team - and this year we are pushing ourselves and each other further.

Last year we raised $1,768.00 with 2,789,276 steps 👣
We're hoping to top this for 2026! 👟👟

One member of our team has held the title of Step Champion for 4 years running – with 401,901 steps in 2025: and we’re all determined to keep up with them this year!

Let’s step up together for a more inclusive world.
