Do your headaches start in your neck?

Many headaches are actually caused by tight muscles referring pain into the head.

Three muscles that commonly contribute to headaches are:

• Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) – can cause forehead pressure and pain around the eyes
• Upper trapezius – often linked to temple headaches and neck tension
• Suboccipitals – small muscles at the base of the skull that can refer pain behind the eyes

When these muscles develop trigger points, they can create headache patterns that feel like tension or sinus headaches.

Myotherapy treatment may help reduce these symptoms through:
