Fineline tattoos can sometimes need a touch up depending on how they heal. I use very fine needles, which means less ink is being packed into the skin compared to a traditional tattoo, so once healed you can sometimes end up with a few lighter or patchy spots.

At your touch up appointment I’ll only go over the small areas that need it and won’t rework lines that have healed nicely. Touch ups are free and recommended from 4 weeks after your initial appointment.

Hand and feet tattoos especially are well known for needing touch ups because those areas are constantly exposed to friction, washing, sweating, movement and faster skin turnover. The skin on the hands and feet doesn’t always hold ink as well as other parts of the body, so fading and little drop outs are very common even when healed correctly.

Attached are some healed results. The last 2 photos needed small touch ups while the rest healed perfectly on their own.
