I visited my favourite health store yesterday (Nature's Health in Traralgon, if you're in the area) and came across these goodies. Normally I make my own but as I'm the only one who eats them and currently time poor, I took a short cut.

Those who have been following for a while know I love kimchi but I thought we should provide a short recap on why these foods are beneficial to gut health.

Fairly chaotic time at the moment, trying to shut the bricks and mortar store while putting my tech hat on to launch my course. Between the delays and my need to have everything perfect, I lost sight of the mission and that is getting this information out to those who need it because, honestly, why would you live in pain if you don't have to?!

Grateful that, although tired, I have the ability to complete my morning walk, with a 5 year old pointer who pulls strongly on her lead. When I was first diagnosed, this was a pipe dream. Simple daily tasks were insurmountable. Now here I am, happy to be unloading the dishwasher 😆 Small wins = big progress.

Tired, fractured sleep looking after my 12 year old Labrador who has a collapsed disc, really did not feel like taking Willow for a walk, but I also value consistency and discipline. While I might not feel like doing it, I know my physical and mental health will benefit in the long run. Just get it done 👊

I respect the medical profession; if I need life-saving surgery or a bone reset, then I'm going to the ED. But they're not experts in overcoming autoimmune conditions. They usually prescribe the medication without asking about your diet, lifestyle and environment. It's symptom management, not root cause analysis.
This is what my blood work up looked like under a microscope - the first three photos are at the height of inflammation, the following were taken a month after making some dietary changes. Not once was I ever asked about food, my lifestyle or environment in any of the consultations with GP's or specialists. I had to do the research myself and figure out what worked for my body.
