What happens when you decide Farmer Joel needs a special Father’s Day present?

Apparently… you buy him another pig.

Safe to say, Farmer Joel was NOT impressed. In fact, we’re fairly certain this may go down as one of his least favourite Father’s Day gifts ever. 🤣

But meet Shirley, unofficially known around the farm as Little Pig. She’s tiny, ginger, ridiculously cute and has already decided that our very large Lizzy is going to be her new best friend, whether Lizzy likes it or not.

Farmer Joel is also slowly coming around. Very slowly. We give it a week before we catch him talking to her when he thinks nobody is watching.

Happy Father’s Day, Farmer Joel. You’re welcome. 😂

We have a rather LARGE new addition to the Yellowtree Farm family… meet Lizzy! 🐽

Lizzy is 3 years old, has come to us from one of our lovely kindy friends.
She’s big, she’s beautiful, and she has very refined tastes, hot chips and cake are apparently her favourites. 🍟🍰

Safe to say, Lizzy won’t be sneaking up on anyone and we definitely won’t be picking her up for cuddles!

She’s settling into farm life beautifully, and we already think she’s going to be quite the character.

Can’t wait for everyone to meet her! 💕

Another busy afternoon at Yellowtree Farm for Farmer B! 💛

There were animals to feed, little farm friends to check on, plenty of pats and cuddles… and even some extra jobs back at the farmhouse. 🐮🐑🐥

Farmer B finished the day helping give our very spoilt farm dogs a bath and put some bows and scarves on them afterwards.

Big shearing day at Yellowtree Farm today 🦙✂️

Everyone got a haircut and little Ivy just got tagged.

Which revealed one tiny detail we’ve somehow missed for 6 weeks.

Ivy is a BOY. 😂💙

Apparently all that fluff was hiding more than we thought. 🤦‍♀️

So, with Mum being Clover, we need a new name!

A little refresher for some of the crew today! ❤️‍🩹

Joel, Matilda and I spent the day completing our First Aid & CPR refreshers, keeping our skills current and making sure we’re ready if we’re ever needed.

Plenty of CPR practice, first aid scenarios and a few laughs along the way… Matilda may have become a little too attached to her training dummy. 😂

Skills refreshed, certificates updated and hopefully never needed! 🙌
