Bay Island Medical Russell and Macleay Islands are seeking an experienced, friendly, and motivated Nurse EN or RN to join our team. This is a part-time position, there are no evening or weekend shifts, offering an excellent work–life balance.
About the Role
Working alongside our GPs and administration team, responsibilities include:
Chronic Disease Management and Care Plans
Health Assessments
Childhood and Adult Immunisations
Recall and Reminder Management
Triage and Clinical Assessment
Wound Care and Injury Management
Assisting GPs with Minor Procedures
Treatment Room Management
Infection Prevention and Control
Patient Education and Health Promotion
Supporting quality improvement initiatives and maintaining high clinical standards
Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA registration
Current CPR Certificate
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and outcomes
