Today is World MS Day.
No two people experience Multiple Sclerosis in the same way, but one thing we hear often is the importance of staying connected to the things that make you, you.
Whether that's maintaining independence, keeping active, spending time with family, or participating in hobbies and interests, it's often the everyday things that matter most.
“MS has changed a lot in my life, but I don’t want it to define who I am. For me, it’s about staying active, maintaining my independence, and continuing to do the things that matter to me. It is challenging, but I am committed.”
“After having to leave my job due to MS, exercise programs and hydrotherapy have helped me maintain my independence, mobility, and wellbeing. They’ve also introduced me to new friendships and a supportive community.”
Today, we recognise the experiences of everyone living with MS and the support networks around them.
