“Why are psychological assessments beneficial?”

One of the biggest reasons assessments can be so beneficial for children is the impact they can have on self-esteem.

When children don’t receive the early understanding and support they need, they can begin to believe they’re “bad,” “behind,” or “different” in a negative way — especially when those differences are pointed out by peers before they understand themselves.

Over time, this can deeply affect confidence, emotional wellbeing, and mental health. Many adults say, “I wish I had known sooner,” because finally understanding themselves brings clarity, validation, and self-acceptance.

Neurodivergence is not something to be ashamed of. Different minds think creatively, see the world differently, and often bring incredible strengths. Early assessment helps children understand themselves sooner, advocate for their needs, and recognise that being different is not a bad thing ✨

These classes are designed to be a supportive space for mums to reconnect with their bodies after pregnancy through:
