Jasmin has been part of the Assist Gippsland family for many years, and we’ve been lucky enough to share plenty of birthdays, adventures, laughs and special moments with her along the way.

🚑 FIRST AID & CPR TRAINING – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW OPEN! ❤️‍🩹

Would you like to complete your First Aid & CPR training, but feel you may benefit from a little extra support to participate?

Assist Gippsland is working with Margie’s Mobile Education – First Aid & CPR to explore upcoming training opportunities in a supportive and accessible environment.

🙋 Attend independently or request support
🩹 Learn practical First Aid & CPR skills
💪 Build confidence responding in an emergency
🎓 Work towards a recognised qualification delivered by a Registered Training Organisation
💚 Experienced disability support staff can be available to assist participants who require additional support

At this stage, we’re simply asking people to register their interest so we can understand demand and plan course dates and sessions that best suit our community.

We’re opening expressions of interest for our 2.5-hour Equine Wellbeing Experience at Grounded Path — a gentle, welcoming experience connecting with horses, nature and yourself.

✨ Observe. Create. Connect. ✨

You’ll enjoy:
🐴 Gentle horse connection at your own pace
🎨 Creative expression — no art experience needed!
🌿 Grounding and mindfulness in nature
🥗 A relaxed, nourishing lunch
💚 Time to pause, be present and enjoy the moment

This is for you if you’ve been craving a little space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, get creative and spend time outdoors in a calm, supportive environment.

☕ Carers Catch Up – Everyone Is Welcome! ☕

Caring for someone can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming and isolating at times. Our free monthly Carers Catch Up offers a relaxed and welcoming space to connect with others who understand, share experiences, have a chat or simply enjoy a cuppa and unwind.

You don’t need to care for an Assist Gippsland participant or have any connection with our services—all carers are welcome. 💙

⏰ 12 pm–1 pm
📍 The Heart, 6 Chinamans Lane, Sale

🔴 Red Nose Day 2026 🔴

Today, our Thursday Exercise Group at Assist Gippsland dressed in red, put on their red noses and got moving to raise awareness and funds for Red Nose Day.

The group enjoyed a sunny outdoor workout, including a kettlebell carry, before continuing the fun at the gym. There were plenty of smiles, laughs and wonderful red outfits along the way!

Behind the red noses and fun is a very serious cause—raising awareness of SIDS and stillbirth, supporting grieving families, and funding education and research to help prevent the loss of babies and children.

Our team and participants are proud to get involved, wear a little red and help spread the word. Sometimes raising awareness starts with something as simple as a red nose and a conversation. ❤️
