Some days remind you why having an amazing team matters. ❤️ Look at these awesome people!

Recently, our team had one of those emergency presentations where clear communication, staying calm and working together really mattered.

From recognition of the issue, through to coordinating an emergency response, every member of this team played their part — communicating quickly, supporting one another and making swift decisions.

A few days later, we were completely surprised and touched when these beautiful flowers, cakes and a card arrived at the practice. 💐🧁

🌸 **A little update about Dr Rosemary**🌸

Dr Rosemary Gunningham is now taking some well-deserved time away from the practice as she begins her maternity leave.

Dr Rosemary is a much-loved member of our team, and we know many of her patients will join us in wishing her and her family all the very best for this exciting new chapter.

While Dr Rosemary is away, our team of GPs will continue to be available to care for her patients and ensure continuity of care during her maternity leave.

We wish Rosemary and her family all the very best as they enjoy this very precious and special time together, and we look forward to welcoming her back to Samford Valley Medical Centre, with her return expected around January 2027. 💕

An InBody scan is a type of body composition analysis that gives you much more information than a standard set of scales.

It can measure:

Body fat percentage
Muscle mass
Fat mass
Visceral fat (fat around your organs)
Body water levels
Segmental muscle distribution (how much muscle is in each arm, leg, and your trunk)
Basal metabolic rate (BMR) – an estimate of calories your body burns at rest.
