Often I’m asked what I mean when I say you have to be open to feel your body.

Part of it is being open to feel the emotions moving through the layers of the body, but sometimes it can be as simple as knowing when your kidneys are getting cold…and just cover up! 😁

I’d love to have a chat if you feel my work could be of benefit to you…either to move through some difficult emotions or just to understand more of how to talk to our organs!

Have you ever felt a vision or project calling you… but couldn’t tell if you were truly aligned with it or just pushing?

In my work I see this often.
We try to think our way forward. But the body already knows.

Yesterday I was invited to share a practice through my qigong teacher network, Nosco Learning, and we worked with that directly.

In this practice we open the heart field to a felt sense of possibility and expansion. We listen at the level of body, energy, and awareness: how do I actually feel about this vision?

We sense the movement that carries us forward—not the whole path, just the next step that feels real.

And then we allow space for what unfolds when we stop forcing.

A sprout doesn’t grow faster if you pull it.

My work reconnects you with the quiet energy already within you that naturally supports what’s ready to grow.

Yesterday I co-hosted an online workshop with my friends Sabrina and Carlo as part of the Triskelion Path.

At one point, she led us into a meditation and asked: “What would happen if this didn’t happen?”
And something in me quietly answered: what would happen if it did?

Because sometimes we don’t sabotage ourselves out of fear of failing. We do it out of fear of our own power. Of having to hold the weight of our own success. Of being fully responsible for something that actually worked.

This is where I meet the Five Elements in real life — not in theory, but in moments like these.

Not because we’re not ready. But because we might actually be.

🍂☀️Right now I’m deep in Earth season, that late summer quality of holding, digesting, integrating.

💛And at the same time, I’m teaching students in the Northern Hemisphere, where the field is awakening into Wood, into spring.🌱

So I find myself wondering “where is spring alive within late summer? Where does that upward, moving energy live inside the stillness?”

A question I hear often is:
“Does it mean that in late summer we only work on Spleen and Stomach?”

The short answer is… no.

The Five Elements don’t exist in isolation. They live in relationship: shaping, supporting, regulating each other in a quiet, constant conversation.

Even in late summer, Earth doesn’t stand alone.It’s always in dialogue with Wood. 💛💚

So when something feels off, like anxiety in the stomach, indigestion, nausea it’s not just about strengthening Earth, but also softening and calming Wood.

This is where the work begins, not in choosing one element, but in sensing the conversation between them…and taking a moment to listen. 👂💛

Last week I shared that one of the things I always check in clinic is adrenal energy — how the body is coping with stress.

❓A question that often comes up is… how do I actually check that?

In kinesiology, we use muscle feedback.
It’s a gentle way of listening to the body — instead of guessing or just applying general advice, we’re checking how your system responds in real time.

The body will either show a stress response or a more balanced response, depending on what we’re testing.

That helps us understand what’s supportive for you — and what might be too much right now.
So we’re not just working from theory, we’re working from your body’s actual feedback.

One of the things I always check during a kinesiology session is the body’s adrenal energy.

😥A lot of people come in feeling tired, but at the same time a bit wired — like they’re running on empty but can’t really switch off.
Often that’s a sign that the body has been under stress for quite a while.

The adrenal glands are part of how the body responds to stress and manages energy. When they’ve been working overtime, people can start to feel things like fatigue, brain fog, poor sleep, or needing more caffeine just to get through the day. 😰

In a session, we check how the body is actually coping with stress right now, and what would help bring it back into better balance.⚖️

Because before adding more routines or health advice, sometimes the most important thing is supporting the body’s energy system first.
