💜 Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month 💜

This September, listen to your body and know what’s normal for you.
Be aware of symptoms such as unusual bleeding, persistent bloating, pelvic pain, bowel or bladder changes, or changes to the vulvar area.

Most symptoms are not cancer, but if something feels unusual or doesn’t go away, speak with your GP.

💙 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men.

Your risk is higher if you have a family history. Early detection can save lives.

👨‍⚕️ Men over 50, or over 40 with a family history, should talk to their doctor about prostate cancer testing.

👧💙 Is your child unwell and you’re unsure what to do?

The Child and Adolescent Virtual Urgent Care Service (CAVUCS) provides access to emergency doctors and nurses who can assess your child and offer medical advice from the comfort of your home.

👶 Available for children and young people aged 6 months to 18 years
🕘 Open 7 days a week, 9am–9pm

If you’re unsure whether your child needs emergency care, this service may be a helpful option.

From late August 2026, the Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental Health Centre will be expanding to two locations making it easier to access the right mental health support when you need it.

A new location will open at Oldham Rd, Elizabeth South, while the Gillingham Rd, Elizabeth site will remain open.

Here’s what you need to know:

Walk-in mental health support for people needing immediate assistance. No appointment or referral required.

📍 21 Gillingham Rd, Elizabeth
Booked appointments for short to longer-term mental health support, including counselling, psychological therapy, peer support, group-based therapy, and care coordination.

Support remains free, confidential and available for people aged 16 years and over.

Dear our valued patients,

We would like to let our patients know that Dr Stephen Klaric & Dr Sanja Klaric concluded their time at Regency Medical Clinic in June 2026 as they have relocated interstate to be closer to their family.

We understand this news may come as a surprise, particularly to the many patients who have been under their care for more than 35 years. Throughout their time at our practice, Dr Stephen and Dr Sanja have provided exceptional care, compassion, and dedication to our Regency community, and we know they will be greatly missed by both patients and staff.
