This Men’s Health Week, we encourage our community to take a moment to focus on men's mental health.

Many men face challenges with their mental wellbeing but may find it difficult to talk about what they're experiencing or seek support. Creating a culture of understanding, connection, and open conversation can help make reaching out easier.

Mental health matters every day of the year. Whether you're checking in on a friend, family member, colleague, or yourself, small conversations can have a lasting impact.

If support is needed, Lifeline is available 24/7 via phone, text, and online chat. 💙

🍎 Red Apple Day 🍎

Today, we're filling Facebook with red apples to help raise awareness of bowel cancer and support vital fundraising efforts.

Bowel cancer affects thousands of people and early detection can save lives. By sharing a red apple and spreading the message, you can help increase awareness and encourage conversations about prevention, screening, and support.

🍎 Post a red apple on your timeline.
🍎 Share this message with friends and family.
🍎 Help us spread awareness and support those affected by bowel cancer.

Together, even small actions can make a difference.

It's our Annual Giving Day - Red Apple Day!

Help us to fill Facebook with red apples today to raise much needed awareness and funds for bowel cancer.

Bowel Cancer Australia's apple logo is symbolic of the charity's bowel cancer message: that 99% of bowel cancer cases can be treated successfully if found early.

The outline of Bowel Cancer Australia's apple logo appears as an abstract of a human bowel. The small hole in the apple is caused by a worm. If detected early and removed, the worm is unable to continue affecting the apple or the health of the tree.

It's the same with people. If bowel cancer is detected early, it can be successfully treated, which means patients and their families can continue to enjoy a healthy life.

We need your help to raise $200,000 this Red Apple Day.

Donate now at redappleday.au and have your gift MATCHED, so it has DOUBLE the impact.

Help save lives by sharing the Red Apple Day message with your family, friends and networks.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder to stay proactive about our health 💙

Early detection saves lives, and screening is a key part of that. In Australia, the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program offers free, simple tests for eligible people aged 50–74 - helping detect bowel cancer early, often before symptoms appear.

If you receive a kit in the mail, don’t put it aside. It only takes a few minutes and could make all the difference 🧪✨
Let’s spread awareness, encourage screening, and support each other this month 💙
