There’s still time to join us at GTK Brisbane on Tuesday 8 September as we partner with Permobil for some practical, hands-on learning designed to support real-world clinical decision making.��

Spend a full day building your clinical reasoning across both power and manual wheelchair prescription, or join us for the session most relevant to your practice.��The morning session (9am–12pm) explores the often overlooked variables that influence power wheelchair performance, helping you better understand how specifications, design and programming impact function, access and participation.��

In the afternoon (1pm–3pm), we shift focus to manual wheelchairs, unpacking the balance between mobility, postural support and pressure care through practical discussion, product exploration and clinical application.

Attend one session or both, and join us for lunch in between, even if you are only registered for the morning or afternoon.��

Join us for an upcoming education session in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney or Melbourne with Joana Santiago (The OT Lab), where complex seating is broken down into practical, real-world application.

This session will explore key considerations when assessing both young and older clients with complex postural needs. You will gain insight into wheelchair seating strategies that support current function while also planning for future changes, helping you make more confident and adaptable clinical decisions.
You will also have the opportunity to get hands-on with a new and innovative wheelchair seating system now available in Australia that is generating a lot of interest.

It was great to bring clinicians together at GTK Brisbane yesterday for a practical session focused on building confidence in wheelchair seating assessment and prescription.

Through hands-on MAT Eval exercises, case studies and group discussion, participants explored practical approaches to seating, positioning and postural support.
