I been wanting to share this with you:
THE TRAUMA EXIT PLAN
You’ve understood the past.
Now it may be time to help your body feel safe enough to move forward.
A new five-book series by Deborah Dowling
Book One is coming soon
Kindle ebook • Paperback • Hardcover
If you have spent years trying to understand why you feel the way you do, yet your body still braces, tightens, shuts down or stays on alert, The Trauma Exit Plan was written for you.
This is not about endlessly retelling what happened.
It is about learning to listen to what your body is telling you now.
Through nervous system awareness, chakra practices, breath, movement, self-touch, sound and gentle somatic techniques, Book One introduces a practical, body-first approach to helping you move beyond patterns of survival.

Does This Feel Familiar?
You have done the thinking.
You have tried to understand the past.
And yet your body may still be holding on.
Your shoulders tighten.
Your jaw clenches.
Your stomach knots.
You hold your breath without realising.
You feel exhausted even after resting.
Or you find yourself reacting to something before you have had time to think about it.
What if understanding your story is only part of the journey?
What if your body needs to be included too?
A Body-First Approach
At the heart of The Trauma Exit Plan is one important principle:
Regulation before release.
Rather than forcing yourself to revisit difficult experiences, you begin by helping your nervous system experience greater safety.
Book One introduces a simple four-step rhythm:
NOTICE — Become aware of what your body is communicating.
NAME — Gently recognise what you are experiencing.
NURTURE — Support yourself with grounding, breath, touch and compassion.
LET GO — Allow some of the tension and holding to soften through breath, movement, sound and intention.
Notice. Name. Nurture. Let Go.
A gentle practice you can return to whenever you need it.

From My Treatment Room to Your Home
I’m Deborah Dowling, a remedial massage therapist and kinesiologist.
My own journey, along with years of working with women through massage, kinesiology, reflexology, energy work and the chakra system, taught me something important:
The body deserves to be part of the conversation.
I created The Trauma Exit Plan to bring these gentle principles and practical self-care tools out of the treatment room and into your home, where you can explore them privately and at your own pace.
The First Step in a Five-Book Journey
Book One lays the foundation for the complete Trauma Exit Plan Series.
Across five books, we will explore the connection between the body, emotions, energy, survival patterns and self-trust—and what can begin to change when you no longer have to use so much of your energy simply holding everything together.
“The exit is not somewhere out there.
The exit is within.”
Book One is coming soon.
