Labelling : Cognitive Distortion .
Have you decided what you can and can’t do based on one experience ? Just because you failed once does not mean you can’t do it or achieve it if you try again and keep at it . The past does not necessarily represent the future . Labelling yourself can be self sabotage . Teach yourself a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset . Life responds to effort and energy 😉🌺🦋

The purpose of shame was once to motivate us to live by our values and those of the tribe . Belonging meant safety . We don’t need shame , but we do need guilt , to motivate us to change and repair .
Shame leaves us stuck and shutdown . It says I AM a mistake . Guilt says I made a mistake . Know the difference and learn how to move on . 🧡❤️
