CONGRATULATIONS to our most charismatic, loved and highly talented Head Artist, and Shop Manager...James Delaney a.k.a Gumpy tattoo at the recent Melbourne Tattoo Expo!!

A well-deserved award for all the amazing work he does day in and day out and has done so for over the last 12 years in his amazing career.

We (as a crew) get to see his amazing work, guidance and passion daily, but now he has been recognised and judged by the tattoo community, to come out on top, and be awarded with this prestigious award for best black and grey realism he performed on our very own is such an achievement for him!

Up against some of the greatest artists in Australia, Gumpy walked away with the goods!

WANTED TATTOO ARTIST!!

Distinktion Tattoo is looking for fulltime or part time tattoo artist to join the crew with an amazing and funny bunch of artists.

We are situated 200m away from a multi million dollar shopping complex in a 120 square meter shop. Great clientelle.

Free to do a guest spot for a week to get to know the crew and vibe of the shop.

Shop provides:
-Inks
-Paper Towel/Baby wipes
-Stencil paper
-All modern Tat-Soul client benches, workstations and artist chairs
And everything else apart from tattoo needles and machines.

Great % rates for your ability and the opportunity to promote your own name

***PRESS RELEASE***

Sad news guys ☹

During this second lockdown unfortunately Distinktion Tattoo Woonona was forced to close down.

This comes after an attempt to communicate with the landlord on the 3rd of August 2021 (approximately 1 month after being forced closed) about how we can move forward together to be able to come out the other side of lockdown.

There was never any communication received back from the landlord in relation to that email and on the 20th of September 2021, the landlord advised via the real estate, that due to the nature of our business "Tattooing" and the continual affect that lockdowns have on our industry now, and possibly in the future, they would not renew the lease in March 2022 and would make Distinktion Tattoo vacate at this date. They continued with, "to save us the hassle of getting to this date and vacate", they would terminate our lease affective of the 15th of October 2022.

Unfortunately Distinktion Tattoo had to accept the early termination and have suffered the fall out and impact of Covid 19 and Governments directives on small business.

At this stage we have no idea if or when we are able to find another premises so we will honor any deposits or gift vouchers at our Shellharbour City Center shop when we are able to operate under the regulations from the NSW government.

We would like to thank all our valued clients and talented artists who have been with us over the 6 years we have operated in The Circle, Woonona.
