• Current demand (Normal to Extremely Busy)
• Longest expected wait time
• Patients waiting to be seen
• Patients currently being treated

This Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the message from GV Health is simple:

Know your risk, talk to your GP, and don’t wait for symptoms before having a conversation.

Australia’s new national guidelines are changing how prostate cancer is detected early. GPs are now encouraged to start the conversation, with imaging playing a bigger role.

Today Minister for Rural and Regional Development Hon. Michaela Settle visited Shepparton Hospital to mark the completion of 33 new staff accommodation apartments.

Located adjacent to the hospital, the three-storey accommodation complex can house up to 39 healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

Access to suitable housing remains one of the biggest challenges in attracting healthcare professionals to regional Victoria. These new apartments will play an important role in helping GV Health recruit and retain the skilled workforce our community relies on.

This year's theme, Colours of Courage, celebrates the many different forms of courage shown by LGBTQIA+SB young people, allies, and communities every day. ✨

Wearing purple and sharing purple treats is one small way our team showed up to help foster safe and inclusive environments where young LGBTQIA+SB people feel supported, valued and respected, something that can have a real, positive impact on mental health and wellbeing. 🙌
