A big thank you to everyone who joined last week’s Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) men’s workshop. It was a fantastic morning that gave local men affected by cancer the chance to connect, share their experiences and pick up practical tips to help them feel their best.

Huge appreciation to the LGFB team and the wonderful volunteers for delivering such a supportive and empowering session. Another workshop is planned for later in the year, so keep an eye out for details!

Shout out to our amazing Community Health @ GV Health team, who have been busy collecting rice for 's Great Rice Drive!

With cost of living pressures rising, demand for Foodshare’s services has grown significantly. The Community Health team has stepped up to show their support, gathering almost 50kg of rice in just a couple of weeks. The generosity from staff has been fantastic to see.

This week, three wonderful Foodshare volunteers visited to collect the donations. The Rice Drive has now been extended until the end of June, so the Community Health team will keep collecting rice over the coming weeks. Well done team! 👏❤

As part of GV Health's 150th anniversary celebrations, a new series of historical wall panels has been installed in the corridor between the two lift towers at Shepparton Hospital.

The panels showcase key moments, milestones and stories from GV Health's journey, from its beginnings in Mooroopna in 1876 through to the health service we know today.

GV Health has taken part in an eight-week Virtual Hospital trial, helping Shepparton Hospital patients access specialist care closer to home.

The Virtual Ward Rounds pilot connects local medical teams and patients with specialists from The Royal Melbourne Hospitaland Austin Health via iPad.

The trial has received positive feedback from patients and clinicians, and with further funding announced in the 2026-27 State Budget, the program will continue.

GV Health recently hosted two successful GP Education Masterclasses, bringing together local GPs, practice nurses, registrars, medical students and specialist clinicians.
The Gastroenterology and Women’s Health sessions provided opportunities for learning, discussion and collaboration, while strengthening connections between primary care and hospital services.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to these valuable education events.
