WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN DAYLY?
This is where I think things get interesting.
Because DAYLY isn't just one ingredient.
It's a combination of different ingredients aimed at different aspects of gut support.
Let's take a look.
PHGG SUNFIBER
A soluble prebiotic fibre that can be used by gut microorganisms.
And this one has human clinical research behind it, including studies looking at bloating, stool form and gut microbiota.
L-GLUTAMINE
An amino acid that is an important fuel source for cells of the intestinal lining. It is being studied for its role in intestinal barrier function, although clinical evidence varies depending on the condition being investigated.
CURCUMIN C3 COMPLEX
A concentrated curcumin extract. Curcumin has been extensively studied for its biological and anti-inflammatory properties, although that doesn't mean every curcumin product produces the same results.
SLIPPERY ELM
A traditional botanical ingredient containing mucilage, which is why it has traditionally been used for soothing the digestive tract.
MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Another traditional botanical containing mucilage.
DGL LICORICE
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice, used in digestive-support formulations.
PEPPERMINT
A familiar herb with research into digestive symptoms, particularly abdominal discomfort and bloating.
And then there are additional plant-based ingredients including:
Aronia berry.
Pomegranate peel.
Cranberry.
Camu camu.
Lemon balm.
N-acetyl glucosamine.
Piperine.
Now here's the important part.
I'm not telling you:
“Every ingredient will fix your gut.”
That's not how nutrition works.
What I am saying is that DAYLY brings together a number of ingredients that have been selected around different aspects of digestive and gut support.
And I think that's much more interesting than simply looking at the front of a packet.
Read the ingredients.
Understand what they are.
Then look at the evidence.
That's what I'm doing with these products at Salus Wellness.
