📍 Last Available Appointments Before My Germany Tour (update)

At the end of June, I'll be heading to Germany for a period of equine bodywork and travel before returning to WA in August.

Swan Valley • Bedfordale • Oakford • Darling Downs
📍 16 June (fully booked)

📍 17 June (fully booked)

My treatments are based on osteopathic principles and combine myofascial techniques, craniosacral therapy, chiropractic biomechanics, neurophysiology and the Masterson Method®.

Suitable for:
✔ Pleasure horses

✔ Older horses
✔ Horses with stiffness or tension
✔ Horses showing changes under saddle
✔ Horses needing a functional bodywork assessment

⚡ KLOUD® can also be integrated into treatment sessions where appropriate to support recovery, relaxation and nervous system regulation.

Last week I was on a wonderful three-day tour through Collie, Donnybrook, Bunbury, Yallingup and Busselton, meeting some truly amazing horses and their owners.

Long days, many kilometres, lots of hands-on work — and exactly the reason why I love what I do.

This time, however, one of my favourite sessions wasn't with a horse at all.

After treating the beautiful Warmblood Nugget in the morning sunshine, his owner booked a KLOUD® session for her 6-year-old Huntaway working dog, Maila.

Like many working dogs, Maila is always "on".

A lovely, friendly girl, but her nervous system is constantly alert and ready for the next job. Relaxing doesn't come naturally to her. She also had an accident when she was younger, making her an ideal candidate for a KLOUD session.

We selected the Relax program and what happened next was incredible.

Within seconds, Maila completely softened and melted into the KLOUD mat. Her whole body relaxed. For her owner, it was a picture she rarely gets to see.

A couple of times she tried to get up — which was perfectly normal for a dog that is used to staying in control. But once we reassured her that it was okay to let go and simply relax, she pressed herself back onto the mat, closed her eyes at times, and settled into a level of relaxation that surprised everyone watching.

Her owner was amazed.

And honestly, so was I.

What struck me most was how much Maila seemed to enjoy the experience. Afterwards, she simply stayed there for a while, quietly processing it all.

Many of our animals struggle to switch off.

Some have lived in a constant state of readiness for so long that true relaxation becomes difficult. Yet it is within the parasympathetic state — the body's "rest, recover and repair" mode — that healing, recovery and restoration can occur.
The same applies to us.

When the nervous system spends too much time in a sympathetic "fight or flight" state, performance declines, recovery suffers and over time both body and mind pay the price.
This is something I see regularly in horses as well.

One of the things I continue to love about the KLOUD® is its ability to support nervous system regulation in a way that many animals readily accept. I've seen wonderful results with performance horses, sensitive horses that dislike being touched, and now with dogs like Maila.

And the beauty of it is that it's not just for animals.

Humans can benefit too — whether you're dealing with everyday stress, recovering from physical demands, or simply wanting to support your wellbeing proactively.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do for ourselves and our animals is learn how to truly switch off.

Maila certainly reminded us of that. ❤️

⚡ END OF FINANCIAL YEAR — Invest in the Next Generation of Recovery & Performance Technology

The KLOUD® systems are available Australia-wide through Equine Body Performance 🇦🇺

If you are a:
🐎 trainer
🐎 equine or canine therapist
🐎 breeder
🐎 rehabilitation professional
🐎 racing stable
🐎 performance horse owner
🐎 or operate any horse-related business

…this is the ideal time to invest in advanced technology that supports performance, recovery and nervous system regulation.
Why continue investing in outdated systems when newer technology is already available?

The KLOUD® represents the next evolution of PEMA technology:
✔ completely wireless
✔ portable & easy to use
✔ one system for horses, dogs AND humans
✔ patented frequencies
✔ multiple programs & 5 intensity levels
✔ modern nervous system-focused application
✔ developed from one of the most established PEMF technology foundations worldwide

What makes it different?
The KLOUD is designed to work WITH the body and nervous system — not simply apply passive stimulation.
In practice, I am seeing excellent results with:
• performance and racehorses
• sensitive horses
• recovery & rehabilitation support
• horses with chronic tension patterns
• nervous system dysregulation
• animals difficult to treat hands-on

One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility:
The same system can be integrated into:
✔ equine businesses
✔ canine therapy
✔ human recovery & wellness
✔ professional training programs
✔ rehabilitation settings

For therapists and trainers especially, the KLOUD is an incredibly valuable addition to a modern performance and recovery program.

📍 COLLIE TOUR — 26th May

Afternoon appointments available.

Do you want to support your horse’s comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing before small issues become bigger problems?
I offer functional bodywork treatments based on osteopathic principles for leisure and riding horses of all ages — not just competition horses.

My work focuses on restoring balance and function within the body, rather than simply treating surface tension. Many horses cope with restrictions and compensation patterns long before obvious lameness appears.

With years of experience working with horses across Europe and Australia, I combine:
✔ osteopathic principles
✔ myofascial techniques
✔ physiotherapy & chiropractic biomechanics
✔ craniosacral therapy
✔ Masterson Method®
✔ neurophysiology-based approaches
✔ optional KLOUD® (PEMA technology) support

Treatment may help horses with:
stiffness or unevenness
behavioural changes under saddle
difficulty bending or picking up canter leads
sensitivity during grooming or saddling
tension and compensation patterns
recovery support for older horses

This is not a routine massage or just a wellness treatment.

The goal is to support long-term functionality, comfort and nervous system regulation in the horse’s body.

“Not Every Horse Can Be Treated Hands-On — Willow’s Story”

Sometimes the horses that need help the most are the ones that cannot tolerate being touched.

I met Willow during one of my bodywork tours. A retired racehorse with multiple diagnosed issues:

* bone cyst in the left lateral condyle with tibial bone spur
* arthritic changes in both stifles
* intermittent upward fixation of the patella (IUFP)

Her owner had already done everything possible:
remedial farriery, rehabilitation, supplements, anti-inflammatory medication, cortisone injections.

But despite all efforts, Willow’s pain indicators remained significant.

Before I arrived, I was told she was extremely sensitive and that working around her hindquarters was nearly impossible.

At the beginning of the session, I was able to work carefully around her forehand, although she was unsettled. But the moment I approached the mid thoracic region, her entire nervous system escalated into alarm mode. She attempted to kick repeatedly — not out of aggression, but because her body no longer felt safe receiving touch.

This is extremely rare in my work.

Horses usually recognise very quickly that my approach is gentle, respectful, and never forceful. But Willow’s system had been stuck in such a high state of protection and pain for such a long time that even soft therapeutic input was too much.

Honestly, both her owner and I were deeply concerned.

What gave me hope was the fact that Willow still looked physically well overall:
bright eyes, good weight, shiny coat. Her body had not given up yet — even though her nervous system was overwhelmed.

At that point, hands-on treatment simply was not an option.

Fortunately, I had just started integrating the KLOUD® into my work, and I told her owner that in my opinion this was the only realistic approach we had left to try.

Not force.
Not restraint.
Not pushing through resistance.

But giving the nervous system a chance to feel safe again.

We started with:
⚡ 15 minutes Relax program (Level 3)
followed by
⚡ Transform program, initially on Level 3 and later increasing to Level 5.

The response was incredible.

Over the following days, Willow became visibly brighter and more engaged with life again. Her owner told me she galloped across the paddock to greet her — something she had not done in a very long time.

We repeated the same protocol two more times:
Relax to encourage parasympathetic downregulation and nervous system release,
followed by Transform to support the physical dysfunctions within the body.

By the third treatment, Willow was not only tolerating the sessions — she was allowing gentle hands-on work afterwards.

And something her owner never expected happened:
they were able to go for a small ride again.

Her owner later wrote to me:

“She’s still expressing pain on occasion. I honestly never expected to get there. But it’s intermittent and not as strong as before. Honestly it was getting to the point I was concerned about her quality of life. You gave me my horse back.”

Cases like this are a reminder that horses are not machines to “fix”.

Sometimes the first step is not correcting the body.
Sometimes the first step is helping the nervous system feel safe enough to begin healing at all.

📍 TOUR DATE — 20th May
Gingin • Muchea • Bullsbrook • Swan Region

A few spots are still available for horses needing a functional bodywork assessment and treatment based on osteopathic principles.

My work is not a standard massage or pure wellness treatment.
The focus is on assessing the horse as a whole functional system:
✔ movement & biomechanics
✔ muscle chain function
✔ fascial and structural restrictions
✔ compensation patterns
✔ nervous system regulation
✔ restoring functional balance within the body

I combine:
osteopathic principles
myofascial techniques
physiotherapy & chiropractic biomechanics
craniosacral work
Masterson Method®
neurophysiology-based treatment approaches

Optional KLOUD® (PEMA technology) add-on available to support:
⚡ relaxation
⚡ recovery & muscle function
⚡ nervous system downregulation
⚡ preparation for treatment

💰 90-minute session — $150 per horse
🚗 Travel costs within the tour area included

For a generally healthy riding horse, this type of treatment is usually not something that needs to be done monthly. In many cases, maintenance every 3–6 months is sufficient — although this can vary depending on workload, existing issues, compensation patterns, or high-performance competition demands.

Because horses are not machines.
Real long-term improvement comes from restoring function within the body — not simply treating surface tension.

Thank you for the trust — and for sharing this feedback, it truly means a lot.

Often, it’s the second session where the deeper changes start to unfold. After the first treatment, many horses begin to understand that they can trust the process, allow their nervous system to shift into a parasympathetic state, and release more fully.

Some horses have previously experienced treatments where their resistance was pushed through, which can make it harder for them to initially accept certain techniques. This is something I always respect and work with, not against.

At the end of the day, we are working with a living, thinking organism — not a machine that can be “fixed” with force. Real, lasting change happens through regulation, trust, and cooperation.
