In exchange for allowing us to capture photos, videos, and promotional content on your property, we'll provide a complimentary lawn care service

🛻🌱A HUGE Milestone 🌱🛻

This week we celebrated something truly special, our lawn care team has been hard at work, building regular and one off clientele, learning new skills and building the independence of our supported employees! 💪🏼

This new vehicle shows how far our Lawn Care Team has come and will help the team:

✅ deliver lawn and garden services more efficiently
✅ transport equipment safely and reliably
✅expand our capacity to support more clients
✅ create even more meaningful employment and skill-building opportunities

We are so proud of our lawn care team, here’s to new opportunities, bigger goals, and many more kilometres ahead 🪴🌟

Weekly Wrap Up ✨

Our week started on Tuesday with our lawn care team ticking off some lawns from their list ✅ The Life Skills group had a crack at identifying different bank notes. We also had some animal fun! 🐴

Our Wednesday social group headed to Sydney aquarium! Meanwhile Workshop Wednesdays and did a photography challenge around Singleton 🐠📸

On Thursday our second social group went the shark and ray centre at Anna Bay followed by a delicious lunch at the Anna Bay Tavern 🦈🍔

Friday saw our Lawn Care team get back to work💪🏼 and our life skills group started in their new projects🔨

🎉 Bright Start Supports is taking part in National Pyjama Day (Week)! 🎉

This July, we're proud to be supporting the National Pyjama Foundation, a cause that is very close to our hearts. The Foundation helps raise funds and provide support for children living in foster care, helping them build brighter futures.

We'd love for everyone to get involved by donating and helping us make a difference!

Last Week at BSS ✨

On Monday our cooking group made a winter favourite, chicken and gravy rolls! Perfect and easy for the colder weather ❄️

Our lawn care team kicked off on Tuesday 💪🏼 The Life Skills group headed to the community garden to contribute to a local resource 🪴

Our Wednesday social group joined forces with Workshop Wednesdays and did a Colour Hunt around Singleton 🔎🌈

On Thursday our second social group went the Ninja Park in Newcastle, flipping around and having a blast 🥷 Thursday was also filled with 1:1 supports, everything from the park, the beach and everything in between 😊🏝️

On Friday our Lawn Care team got back to work on your lawns getting things done from Muswellbrook to Singleton 💪🏼 and our life skills group changed things up repurposing some old horse shoes and celebrated Izaak’s Birthday 🎂🐴
