That’s how Brianna describes her role in aged care, and it’s exactly what makes her story so powerful. From fishing trips to bringing smiles through simple moments of care, her impact goes far beyond the role itself.
After starting her journey in high school, Brianna is now a qualified Leisure and Health practitioner with Emmerton Park Aged Care facility in Smithton, as well as Work & Training’s 2025 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year.
Her story is one of growth, confidence and genuine connection, showing how far the right support, passion and dedication can take you.
