The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission has banned Luan Memishi and LMMJ Constructions from providing supports and services to people with disability under the National Disability and Insurance Scheme.

This compliance action follows an investigation that uncovered instances of online abuse and derogatory remarks about people with disability.

The NDIS Commission is committed to taking strong action against individuals and organisations that risk the safety of participants.

The banning order for Luan Memishi and LMMJ Constructions came into effect on 8 June 2026 and will apply for a period of two years across all states and territories of Australia.

NDIS Provider Cocoon SDA Care and Political Donations

Cocoon SDA Care, which received $53.7m in NDIS funding in 2024 and $47m in 2023 according to its financial report, remains under investigation. The company spent over $50,000 on political donations, allegedly to court political figures and gain legitimacy.

Despite receiving significant public funds, Cocoon still owes substantial amounts in unpaid staff wages and superannuation. Its use of LNP fundraisers to access politicians raises serious questions about Cocoon's accountability and the use of taxpayer money.
