Making a difference together πŸ’œ Mums Supporting Families In Need (MSFIN)

At Amity Care Services, we cannot praise the work of Mums Supporting Families in Need (MSFIN) enough. MSFIN are a volunteer-powered charity helping families experiencing hardship across Melbourne’s south-east.
From clothing and bedding to nursery essentials and everyday necessities, MSFIN provides vital support that helps restore dignity, reduce stress, and create positive outcomes for families when they need it most.
A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers, donors, and team members who make this life-changing work possible every day. ✨ Head over to our website; amitycareservices.com.au to read our latest blog about MSFIN πŸͺ»

Our team had no hesitation in putting together four hampers to donate to Mums Supporting Families In Need (MSFIN) this week, a show of appreciation for the support they have offered those in need for us over the years.

This week, Amity Care proudly stands with families, carers, and communities in recognising National Child Protection Week. Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, valued, and heard. By working together, we can help create stronger communities where children can thrive and reach their full potential. πŸ’™

Let’s continue to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and play our part in protecting and empowering every child, not just this week, but every day.

This September, we wear gold in solidarity with the thousands of Australian children, families, survivors, and healthcare workers impacted by childhood cancer. πŸ’›

Every year in Australia, around 760–1,000 children are diagnosed with cancer, and cancer remains the leading disease-related cause of death for Australian children. Around three children lose their lives every week, while many survivors continue to face lifelong health challenges as a result of treatment. Despite incredible progress in research and survival rates now exceeding 80%, there is still so much more to do.

By wearing gold, we honour the courage of every child fighting cancer, remember the lives lost too soon, and stand beside the families navigating unimaginable challenges. πŸ’›πŸŽ—οΈ

Together, we raise awareness, inspire hope, and remind every child and family facing cancer that they are not alone.
