🌸 Sarcopenia: Strength That Starts From Within

As we age, it’s natural for our bodies to experience change—one of the quietest shifts is sarcopenia, the gradual loss of muscle mass and strength. It can affect balance, energy, and everyday comfort. Factors like reduced movement, chronic inflammation, and nutritional changes all play a role.

But here’s something empowering: age doesn’t define your ability to build strength—your intention and care do. ✨

At Riverside Health Grafton, we support this journey with gentle, restorative movement and holistic care. Weight training and regular exercise, tailored to your body, can reverse the tide of sarcopenia—and it’s never too late to begin.

We combine movement with deeply nurturing therapies:

💆‍♀️ Chiropractic to improve spinal health and natural mobility
💆 Osteopathy to ease tension and promote musculoskeletal balance
💆‍♂️ Acupuncture to calm inflammation and restore energy flow
Together, these approaches cultivate strength—not just in muscle, but in spirit and resilience.

💫 Your strength is waiting to be rediscovered. Let us guide you gently toward it.

📞 Call Riverside Health Grafton or visit our website to book an appointment - we’re here to support your healing journey.

Ever wondered where Craniosacral Therapy comes from? 🌿

Its roots trace back to the early 1900s, when osteopathic physician Dr. William Sutherland discovered that the bones of the skull aren’t fused solid - but instead have subtle, rhythmic movement. He spent decades researching how this motion relates to the brain, spinal cord, and overall health.

Later, in the 1970s, Dr. John Upledger expanded on Sutherland’s work, bringing Craniosacral Therapy into modern practice. Through gentle, hands-on techniques, this approach supports the body’s natural ability to release tension, restore balance, and promote deep healing.

Today, Craniosacral Therapy is used worldwide to help people reconnect with their body, calm the nervous system, and find relief from stress and discomfort - naturally and gently.

Curious to experience it for yourself? 💫
