We’re a small team with an overflowing folder of ideas we want to share with the gluten free community, so we’re on the hunt for an aspiring Content Creator to help bring them to life on social.

Role details:

📍 Melbourne-based, with office days in South Melbourne office as needed.
📅 Flexible hours, creating approx. 3 content pieces per week.
🚀 Starting ASAP.

When Katrina’s birthday theme is “things I love” and her best friend turns up dressed as a GluteGuard pack 🥹

And as if the costume wasn’t already enough to make our day, Katrina later shared why GluteGuard made the list:

“[My diagnosis] meant cutting gluten out of my diet completely - not just obvious sources, but also shared toasters, shared fryers, and anything with even the slightest risk of cross-contamination. At home, this was manageable because I could control my environment, but eating out became a huge source of anxiety, constantly worrying about mistakes that could make me ill.

Our first Chemist Warehouse Brand Showcase did not disappoint! 🧪

It was such a treat to catch up with long-time users we’ve known since the start, introduce gluten protection to people for the first time, and hear "I use GluteGuard!" from new friends passing by - we grabbed pics with as many as possible!

And speaking of treats, when we decided to take part, making sure the gluten free community had something safe to eat there was a must. So the very best was brought in, Eat Cannoli, and we shared their GF cannoli throughout the event. 🧡

We’re so excited to be joining the Chemist Warehouse Official Brand Showcase for the first time, and we’re not showing up empty-handed.

As research around gluten-related conditions continues to evolve, so does the way they’re understood and approached.

That’s why, at this year’s General Practice Conference & Exhibition - GPCE Melbourne, we were proud to support an education session with A/Prof Gary Kilov AM unpacking how GPs can approach gluten-related concerns in patient consultations.

The session covered the spectrum of gluten-related conditions, overlapping symptoms, testing considerations, and the role of gut-directed enzymes. He made a complex topic clear, practical and genuinely engaging for everyone in the room.

Our team loved hearing the amazing feedback from the GPs who attended. Thank you to everyone who came along!

Educating about accidental gluten ingestion is one thing. Navigating that risk yourself is another. Last week during a GP conference, Cass was doing both!

Between conversations, each morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea brought the usual questions:

• Is this genuinely gluten free?
• How was it prepared?
• Has cross-contact been considered?
• Can I eat it with confidence?

Her real-time experience became a natural talking point with GPs, illustrating that the risk of accidental gluten exposure isn’t only a concern on overseas holidays or at one-off events. It’s an ongoing reality that gluten free people manage in everyday situations.

Thankfully, General Practice Conference & Exhibition - GPCE and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) provided many gluten free options with clear signage and staff who could answer questions.

All helping Cass (and others eating GF at the event!) assess the risk and make confident choices. 👏
