It Made Many Of You Upset 😡

The Story Of Sleepy Head Bathwash 💜💜💜

We have loved making this beautiful product for almost a decade and we know how many babies and kids have grown up using our beautiful Certified Organic Sleepy Head Bathwash.

Unfortunately, the price to make this stunning product became too high and we had to discontinue it last year. 😭

❌We refuse to substitute cheaper ingredients or cheap fillers so we made the difficult decision to rest our bathwash. We know how hard it is to find a bubble bath that does not contains any synthetic fragrance which can often contain ‘phthalates’.

🥺Thousands of you wrote to us asking for alternative recommendations and we searched high and low and nothing compared. Nothing. Absolutely Nothing was as good ingredient wise.

We decided that even though the cost to produce this was so high it is a product that needs to be available for kids and babies. It’s an ESSENTIAL. 👍🤗

Firstly, how about we hold the intention we don’t use screens to alleviate boredom. Screens are not the answer to being bored. 🥱

Let’s break it down:

“You are bored. You don’t know what you want to do next. Being bored doesn’t feel good, but it doesn’t mean something is wrong. No one is coming to rescue you from this feeling. We welcome boredom and we know that boredom is the true birthplace of creativity. It’s your job to figure out what you’ll do next.

Here’s your 3 options:

1️⃣Sit and think. It’s okay to sit with boredom. Maybe a creative idea will hit you. Learning to sit with our uncomfortable feelings is a powerful skill to teach our kids.

2️⃣Do something that’s “okay.” Maybe you don’t love the idea of reading or drawing or going for a walk, but it would be okay. While you’re doing it, inspiration may strike for an idea you really love. Okay activities can be a bridge to great ideas 🌈

3️⃣ Do something boring while you are bored. You could fold washing , organize your desk, rearrange your room etc. Might as well make good use of the feeling and double down on it. Sometimes doing something even more boring will springboard us out of boring town. Or choose to be of service. Do something completely not about you that helps someone else. Being of service can instantly open new neural pathways.

You have a great brain. I know you’ll come up with something 😉

Healthy people learn to manage difficult feelings, not avoid them. Putting the boredom ball back in their court strengthens this skill 💪

Save this list! It might come in handy! ❤️🌼🌸

Time and time again, these natural solutions have proven to be not only fast and effective but also free from the harsh side effects of conventional medicine.

What have I missed off this list? 🙋‍♀️

Before aspirin, there was willow bark.
🌿Before anti-inflammatory meds, there was turmeric.
🌿Before morphine, there was o***m poppy.
🌿Before skin creams, there was calendula.
🌿Before anxiety meds, there was lavender.
🌿Before cough syrups, there was thyme & licorice root.
🌿Before antibiotics, there was garlic & honey.
🌿Before neosporin, there was tea tree.
🌿Before sleep medications, there was chamomile

Plants have always had deep roots in medicine. 🌱

Pharmaceuticals have their place. Especially in emergency medicine and surgery. I wouldn’t be alive without them. But they are chronically overused.

Instead see if it’s possible to reach for and think about for nature’s remedies first. I use eucalyptus to clear my sinuses during a cold, peppermint to ease a headache, chamomile tea to calm anxiety, bee propolis for sore throats, calendula oil to soothe a bug bite or eczema flare-up, lavender to promote restful sleep, elderflower for seasonal sneezing and allergies, and tea tree to tackle blemishes.

I love ginger when my stomach is upset, arnica to soothe pain, aloe vera to alleviate burns, Manuka leaf for skin antibiotic then the foods chilli, ginger, garlic, apples, lemons, kiwi, blueberries - all medicine in their own unique ways.

Time and time again, these natural solutions have proven to be not only fast and effective but also free from the harsh side effects of conventional medicine.

Choosing plant-based remedies is my first thought when something needs tending to.
