Melbourne Marathon 2024
Net time 2:55:21 (PB) | place 351/8817
Today didn’t go to plan - I hit the proverbial wall at 30kms
Despite a well-executed training regime, “the tree of life did not grant me the fruit of my labour” - a race time of 2:45:00
Instead, I walk away with a PB, another lesson learnt and a deeper resolve to keep the grind alive
THANK YOU to every legend who has supported the journey - Your constant support and words of encouragement are always uplifting 🙏🏾
Last, but not least, special shout out to the President of the Mitchell Perera Fan Club Lauren Ross-Gilder - Your pancakes, Sunday treats and unwavering support have carried me every step of the way 🖤
