Happy Friday everyone! ☀️

If you walk into your treatment and see me with a couple of needles in my head, don't be alarmed!

These are my favourite "needle coffee" when I need a little energy boost. They help lift clear Yang Qi, sharpen my focus, and leave me feeling more alert, without the caffeine jitters, like the palpitations or emergency dash to the toilet!

- Du20 (Bai Hui) means "Hundred Meetings"—where all the Yang Qi gathers.

- Du23 (Shang Xing) means "Upper Star"—a point traditionally used to clear the mind and lift the spirit.

You can also gently tap or massage these two points with your fingertips for a minute or two to help clear your mind and give your energy a little lift.

Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend ahead. Take some time to recharge, and I'll see some of you in the clinic next week! 😊

Could Your Symptoms Be Linked to the Gallbladder Meridian?

Do you experience any of the following?
• Side of the head headaches or migraines
• Pain starting from the hip and running down the outer side of the leg (sciatica pain)
• Ongoing outer thigh, knee, or ankle pain with no clear cause
• Bitter taste in the mouth or dizziness
• Trouble falling asleep or waking between 11pm–1am

In Chinese medicine, these patterns often follow the Gallbladder meridian, which runs from the side of the head down through the hip and outer leg.

Want to relieve muscle tension naturally?

If sore shoulders, a stiff neck, or an aching back are slowing you down, cupping therapy may help. It works by releasing tight muscles, improving circulation, and supporting natural pain relief — ideal for work-related strain, long-term tension, or general stiffness.

First maintenance treatment of 2026 — booked yet?

Happy New Year everyone! 🎉 Hope you all had a good break.

If you’re feeling a bit low in energy, heavy, or not quite ready to jump back into work after the holidays, you’re not alone — this is very common at this time of year.

Think of your first treatment of 2026 as a New Year tune-up — a gentle pick-me-up to refresh your energy and help you feel clear, grounded, and ready to start the year well.

Thank you for your support in 2025. From January 2026, I’m at the Ferntree Gully clinic 3 days a week, from Wednesday to Friday, and I look forward to caring for you this year. ❤️
