Discover. Create. Test. Pitch.
Max Biocare and our team of experts have wrapped up an incredible week, hosting Thai school students as part of our 2026 Real-World STEM Learning Experience 🌿
Their journey began at the Max Biocare Research Park in Yinnar, where curiosity came to life among our medicinal gardens. Students explored a diverse range of plants, uncovering their bioactive properties and how they contribute to health and wellness innovations.
A true highlight was our immersive bee session with expert beekeeper Bill Ringin 🐝
Students suited up, safely interacted with the bees, and tasted fresh honey straight from the hive—gaining a deeper appreciation for the vital role bees play in our ecosystem, and how our Max Biocare Herbal Honey is sustainably cultivated on-site.
Building on this discovery, students selected plant specimens and, under the guidance of our Head of Group Regulatory Affairs & Quality, Dr Chivukula Sekar, tested them for bioactive potential.
They then continued their journey at our Port Melbourne Laboratory—transforming ideas into real formulations, before presenting their final product pitches to our panel.
This is what hands-on, real-world learning looks like—building confidence, inspiring curiosity, and nurturing a lifelong love of learning in the next generation.
