Recently, Bavani and Peter spent the day out fishing together – enjoying good company, fresh air, and a successful catch along the way.

Apparently Peter even went home with fish for dinner 😄

More than just a great day out 💙

Mark enjoyed a special day with his support team and his dog Cocoa – catching the ferry for the first time, lunch by the waterfront, and plenty of smiles along the way.

Afterwards, Mark shared a message with his team:
“Yesterday was terrific… taking Cocoa to the restaurant was even better because she got her own special little lunch.”

Peter hadn’t been back in the water in a long time.

Growing up, the beach and surfing were a big part of his life – something he lost after his accident.

Over the weekend, with the support of his team and support worker Aniza, he got back into the ocean on the Gold Coast.

A moment like this doesn’t just happen. It takes planning, coordination, and people who genuinely care.

This is what the right support looks like – creating opportunities for people to reconnect with the things they love. Great work Peter, Aniza and to our team!

Recently we received some lovely feedback about our After Hours team, recognising the care and reassurance they provide when participants and families need support most.

After a serious accident left him with a spinal cord injury, Robert had to rebuild almost every part of his daily life.

This video offers a small window into Robert’s life after the accident. He speaks openly about that journey – and about the role the right support has played in helping him regain independence, confidence and routine.

Stories like Robert’s show what can happen when support is consistent, values-aligned and built around the person.
