I would like to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude for the patience, support, trust, and incredible kindness I have received from all of my clients over the past eight years of my journey in disability services.

This chapter of my life has been both profoundly rewarding and deeply meaningful, and none of it would have been possible without each of you. The relationships I have built with my clients and their families have been truly special, and I will always cherish every moment spent supporting, learning, and growing alongside you all.

I began this journey while studying my Law degree and continued throughout my Master of Teaching. Working in disability services alongside my studies gave me immense purpose, drive, and ambition. What started as support work evolved into support coordination, policy advocacy, and helping clients maximise their plans to ensure they received the greatest level of support possible in the most practical and sustainable way.

Being able to advocate for people in a space that is too often overlooked by larger providers and organisations brought me immense fulfilment. I have always approached this work with strong personal ethics and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference, and I sincerely hope I have been able to do that.

Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances, I have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to step away from everything I have built in this field and focus on transitioning back into teaching.

This decision has not been made lightly. I have explored every possible avenue and contingency to try to hold onto this part of my life that I care for so deeply. However, despite my best efforts, I have been unable to find a way to make it sustainable for myself and my family.

As a result, from 1 June 2026, I will be closing this chapter of my life and moving forward into the next.

I cannot adequately express how much the community has contributed to my life throughout this journey. Your trust, your resilience, your support, and the privilege of being part of your lives has meant more to me than words can truly capture.

Over the coming weeks, I hope to work closely with my clients to ensure a smooth and supportive transition, both practically and emotionally, as we navigate this change together.

If there is anything you need to assist with this transition, please do not hesitate to reach out. I want to do everything I can to help make this process as easy and comfortable as possible for you.

This year has been a huge success raising funds for mental health awareness and suice prevention and awareness. Not only did I smash my goal but broke a new record raising $1,228.00! This goes a long way helping approximately 1,557 people.

Working in this industry we must face very personal mental health issues and become open and aware to give the most appropriate support relevant to our clients and their mental health challenges. Many people with disabilities find it hard to understand these challenges and even approach talking about these issues until it is too late. No matter who you are whether you live neurodiverse or neurotypical we need to promote awareness and speaking out ❤️

!! 6 DAYS TIL GO TIME !!

I feel privileged to be part of a remarkable movement, spreading awareness for mental health each year by participating in mullets for mental health. This year, we are fortunate that the Black Dog Institute have allowed us to open our fundraiser page early to maximize sponsorships.

Throughout my life, I have battled serious mental health issues, from Panic Disorder to depression. I have had a best mate take his own life, and my work within the disability sector i engage with individuals who are constantly batteling their own demons. This is a poignant reminder of the importance of speaking out. I know that as a man, it can be tough to acknowledge that you are not doing okay, but I'm here to tell you that this is a sign of strength, not weakness. By speaking out and seeking help, we can break down the stigma surrounding mental health. I want my mullet to be a conversation starter, encouraging others to talk about mental health.

This is my 4th year of participating in this cause and last year I reached my goal of $1000 raised. I am again looking to meet that $1000 mark with your support.

It's okay to not be okay, but it's not okay to stay silent.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, is invaluable in helping towards men's mental health research and support.

I'm raising money for a cause close to my heart and would love your support.

As the Uni semester begins I would love to give a huge shout out to my incredible clients exploring this new chapter in their life.

Zoë has just started a bachelor of creative arts majoring in creative writing at Curtin University. Zoë has show such resilience and determination and am sure she will excel in her chosen area.

Ash has just started at Curtin University study a bachelor of science majoring in psychology. Ash is so driven to excel in all her academic areas. Her bubbly personality and huge heart makes her a great fit for the course she has chosen. Ash has also recently recieved the opportunity to work as a tutor while she studies. This is a huge achievement.

Seth has now started at SAE University College Aus studying a bachelor of Animation. Seth’s creativity and passion for his animated work will go a long way in the course he has chosen. Seth’s hard working nature and attention to detail will be amazing tools that he can use in relation to his work. (Hopefully we can see his name in the credits of big things to come).

I am so blessed to work with such amazing clients and their families and help facilitate in any way that I can to make their dreams a potential reality.

I am so proud of all of you and I know you will show the world how incredible you all are!

SAE University College Aus has published an amazing article about one of my brilliant clients Seth. It articulates the lengths neurodiverse students have to go to when transitioning from school to uni.

I was so glad to be a part of helping Seth enrol in university and be apart of the interview and publication of this amazing article!

There are many similarities behind ASD and ADHD and often they can combine themselves within an individual. It’s important to understand which signs are ASD traits and which are ADHD traits. In saying this both conditions are a spectrum disorder and I live by the saying I was once told “If you’ve met one person with ASD or ADHD you have only met one person with ASD/ADHD” people often categorise traits to these diagnosis but everyone I have worked with are different/Unique and amazing In their own way!

It’s truly touching to see how a simple act of kindness can make such a profound difference.
