I said something in my acceptance speech on Sunday night that had the room in stitches.

Let's just say I am deeply, unapologetically, embarrassingly passionate about HydroPeptide.

The CEO now knows this. The chemist now knows this. The entire room now knows this.

No regrets.

The two people standing with me are Ian Virtek and Annette Rubin -- the senior cosmetic chemist and CEO of HydroPeptide. That trophy is HydroPeptide Stockist of the Year 2026.

My flights to the HydroPeptide Global Symposium in Barcelona were cancelled because of the Middle East crisis. I was absolutely gutted. I had been chosen as one of two Australian stockists to attend and I was devastated to miss it.

What happened instead was better than I could have planned.

Across the PBS Skin Summit weekend I had genuine one on one time with both of them. We talked science. We talked formulation. We talked about what is coming for Australian clients later this year.

This is the moment I will never forget.

Claire’s before and after projected behind us on the screen at the PBS National Gala Dinner in Sydney. Claire standing next to me at the podium when they announced Best Client Transformation 2026.

I need to tell you something.

I am sitting in my hotel room this morning and I genuinely cannot believe I am typing these words.

Tonight is the night.

The PBS Gala Dinner at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney. The Salon of the Year Awards. The Client Transformation Journeys Competition announcement.

I have shared four transformation stories with you this month — Claire, Jasmin, Glenda and Scott. Four people who trusted me with their skin at moments that really mattered. Four outcomes that I am genuinely proud of and that represent everything I believe about what clinical aesthetic care can achieve.

Tonight those stories go before a national judging panel.

I also want to be honest with you. I won Salon of the Year Queensland last year. Tonight I find out if we have taken it nationally. I want that. A lot.
