Istanbul reminded me of something this week…

Between the Turkish coffee, long breakfasts, wandering through ancient streets and simply slowing down, I realised how easy it is to forget ourselves when life gets busy.

As high-performing women, we’re often focused on the next goal, the next deadline, the next thing that needs our attention but self-leadership isn’t just about achieving more. It’s about managing yourself first.

✨ Managing your energy.
✨ Managing your mindset.
✨ Managing your boundaries.
✨ Managing your wellbeing
Managing your workload

The reality is that if we don’t intentionally create space to pause, reflect and reset, eventually our body will ask us to slow down for us.

Sitting here overlooking Istanbul, I was reminded that clarity doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from creating space. The space to think, the space to breathe, the space to reconnect with what truly matters. To me this month is about me and my relationships and to create space to just be..

The best leaders I know aren’t always the busiest people in the room and they are the people who know when to push forward and when to pause. Why… because self-leadership starts with self-awareness.

It was my birthday 🎂 At 47, I’ve realised success isn’t just about titles, money, or how busy you are. And I have known this for years. Money helps, but it doesn’t only make me happy. I need more… It’s about building a life that actually feels aligned with who you are. With who I am.

When I look back, these are the 3 achievements I’m most proud of:

1. Having the courage to reinvent myself as I’ve evolved through different chapters of life and business without losing myself and actually learning about myself. I’ve learned that growth requires letting go of old versions of you so you can step into the next one. Doing all this with my husband and my son, family and my soul sisters..

2. Building businesses that genuinely help people
From HR consulting to Wellness Soul Tribe, I’ve created work that supports people through growth, leadership, wellbeing, confidence, and change. That matters to me more than status ever will.

3. Backing myself when things felt uncertain and scary. When I was nervous to invest in myself as I needed to be careful with money. There were moments where I doubted myself, felt overwhelmed, burnt out, or questioned the path but I kept going. Not perfectly. Just consistently.

Becoming the woman I once needed. The younger version of me needed someone to remind her that she was capable, worthy, grounded, and enough. Now I get to be that person for other women navigating leadership, life, burnout, confidence, and reinvention.

47 feels different. Less pressure to prove. More clarity about what matters and having more confidence in who I am and
trusting in my intuition. Honestly I feel more excitement about the future than ever before.

My next chapter isn’t about doing more and burning out, it’s about living more aligned and intentional with my actions. 🌿

May is your moment to pause…and get intentional again this month. It is a time to focus on your relationships, your communication and your finances for the long term (not quick wins). So, have a look at what you want to achieve for the next 8 months (and my Vision Board ladies - reflect and look at your board), what do you want to focus on for May and make a plan... what will you do this week?

If you feel that you are stuck, I was feeling a little stuck in April and did some work on this, I recommend that you journal on what do you feel is holding you back right now? what is dragging you down? What options can you consider for actions to take a step forward? How can you start to let go?

Now refocus for May, focus on one thing... your most important and intentional goal...

Where do you want to be by the end of May?
How will you know when you have succeeded?
How will you feel at the end of May knowing that you have achieved this?

Hi, I am Kelly! The founder and Managing Director of the Wellness Soul Tribe and Reign HR. It has been a while, and was we have some incredible new people following the Wellness Soul Tribe page (I am so happy that you are connected with me), I thought I would be a good idea to do a quick refresh and introduction.

The Wellness Soul Tribe is here to support high-performing professional women to reconnect with themselves, gain clarity on what truly matters, and step into their next chapter with confidence and purpose.

Through coaching, workshops, guided programs and retreats, I help women reset their mindset, strengthen their wellbeing, and develop the internal leadership needed to lead their lives with intention.

ANZAC Day is a day we pause.

To remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who served in the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I.

I pay my respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land, and honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander diggers who served this country, often in the face of discrimination.

This isn’t just history. It’s a moment to slow down… reflect… and remember what truly matters. The bravery, the courage.. I feel that war is so sad, so scary and I feel for the soldiers that are also involved in the current war.

Take a moment today to reflect on what does courage means to you right now?

Subtle Shifts In Mindset & Habits That’s All I Did…

It’s really interesting how our mind works… over the weekend was on a girls trip (🙌🏽) and we did a morning walk up Mount Tomaree in

I warned the girls that she I do this walk that I can’t walk and talk on the way up as the stairs and the incline kill my breathing and I need to focus on my breath.

What a trek it was up there and it wasn’t as bad for me this time round and I think because I have been really focused on moving my body more done January and incorporated boxing 🥊 into my weekly routine as well.

I’m sharing this with you because this acknowledgement of the subtle shift in my habits over the last 4 months and how my perseverance and perspective has changed really helped me to climb that mountain.

Then when we reached the top of the feelings that I had as we stared out onto that magical blue ocean 🌊 was fulfilled, refreshed, get lighter and Hansard energy as the sun ☀️ was on my skin. Grateful for focusing on me over the weekend and my mental health and physical wellbeing.

My takeaway is to enjoy the experiences as sometimes the lead you to extraordinary moments 💜🔑💜

5 Quick Fixes To Improve Your Self Confidence Today

1. Believe in yourself, your own abilities, your worth, and without judgment. Look at your strengths and build upon them.

2. Reframe and rewrite your self talk.. Reflect for a moment how do you speak to yourself? Show yourself some empathy and respect for all that you had been through and all that you have learned.

3. Do what you say that you will do as most women in our position in life and business overcommit and end up breaking promises to ourselves then what happens is that we put ourselves last. This kills our confidence fast.

4. Have healthy boundaries and learn to say no and learn to protect your energy like it’s your bank account or your revenue. You wouldn’t let someone drain your bank account…but energy? Happens daily. Look at who is in your life that’s draining your energy. Don’t consistently say yes.. be intentional when your yes to something or someone. Instead try saying “I’ll comeback to you”. Know that you don’t need better time management, you need better boundaries. That pause alone changes everything.

5. Do a reset of your routines. Look at 3 x 5-minute resets in your day. Try morning routine like breathe work and set intentions for your day. Then at midday try stepping outside and moving your body. Your evening routine look at reflecting on what worked? What didn’t? What can you change tomorrow?

This will keep you connected to yourself in real life, not just on weekends but everyday. Believe in YOU!!!

I love that feeling of being in the trees and breathing in the air, of taking notice of the trees swaying in@the wind and time to refocus on myself…

Transformation is coming as I step into a new phase and we turn a new page within this chapter called life ☀️🔑
